About this listen

She wants your life – and she’ll do anything to get it…

Erica has always wanted to be exactly like her neighbour, Faye: beautiful, thin, and a mother. But Faye’s life isn’t as perfect as it seems – she has a terrible secret, and slowly but surely, it is threatening to destroy her and everything she holds dear.

When Faye’s daughter Tamsin goes missing after school, the police turn to Erica. But is Erica the only one who has been enviously watching Faye? Or is there another threat hiding in the shadows…?

A brilliantly tense and compelling thriller about jealousy, greed and desire from #1 ebook bestseller Amanda Robson. If you love this, don’t miss her new book My Darling.

Alright...

This story was great until the end. The abrupt ending made me angryyyy!!! Other than that, it was good...

Suspending disbelief squared

Interesting plot with unlikable protagonists. When the best character is the stalker that tells much. The narration was excellent but even an interesting story read well cannot save a laughably stupid conclusion. No twists no surprises no reality.

Jesus F. Christ

If you've already read any Amanda Robson, don't bother to keep it up. It's always the same. Embarrassingly stupid characters, always emphasized as really good-looking, and all willing to drug each other, cheat on each other, and kill each other. In every book! EVERY BOOK involves at least one character buying drugs from the dark web. No creativity, just paint-by-number plots. Avoid.
