About this listen

A catastrophic event forces the crew of an underwater research base to evacuate into cold and dark waters. Cut off and alone from the surface, no help is coming.

Mary, the determined station commander, leads the survivors on a dangerous journey across the ocean floor to safety. One through perilous terrain and unexplored areas with limited oxygen.

But in the darkness of the ocean, other threats are lurking. With no weapons or any defences, the group will no choice but to face them head-on.

A book for fans of Leviathan, DeepStar Six, and The Abyss, with a splash of Subnautica.

I have no idea if this book is any good. My wife and I sat down to listen together and both if us wanted to turn it off after listening for about 2 minutes. the cadence is really off, and it was too distracting to be willing to listen after just a couple of minutes. sorry narrator... I'm not trying to be mean, just honest.

terrible narration

I loved the setting. It reminded me of Deep Blue Sea and Seaquest DSV. I'll be interested to see if there is a sequel in the world.
