Publisher's summary

LA is a beast. A city that swallows most with its glamour and glitz.

Not Sarah Fuller though.

Stubborn and relentless, Sarah refuses to be changed by her surroundings. Often, she takes a cynical approach, judging the world around her, though never taking anything too seriously.

Thrown back into the dating arena in her late 30s, Sarah encounters brand-new challenges.

Listeners will laugh out loud at the adventures and mishaps this sassy protagonist gets herself into. She explores LA life, seeing it through her unique lens.

Hair extensions, goat yoga, socialites, and all the strangeness that comes out of LA weave together in this crazy, episodic adventure.

Can you handle the absurdities?

Fans of Chelsea Handler and Sex and the City will love Everyone in LA Is an Asshole, a series that doesn’t hold back and says what we’re all secretly thinking.

An interesting look at life.

Reviewer: Teresa Fallen Angel

Summary:
This was look at the world through the eyes of the author Sarah who isn’t afraid to see life for what it can be, ridiculous and strange. Sarah has no problem telling it like she sees it taking the reader through the inner workings of her mind and even recognizing her own unique way of seeing things. From her take on yoga pants to her perspective on dating apps, the craziness never lets up. A very interesting audiobook. In Sarah’s own words everyone in LA is an asshole, even herself! LOL

Had some great giggle moments

I'm not usually drawn to this type of book. It was gifted to me and I'm glad. It gave me a good giggle every 5 minutes and the confused eyes of coworkers wondering why I was smiling walking down the halls. Bluetooth is a wonderful invention. Now I cam work and read a book at the same time. Sarah Noffke read her own book. It's a great idea to hear the actual writers voice, especially when it's basically a memoir of their life. I was able to relate to much if the story as I live in the valley in Oregon that she refers to so often. It was fun hearing about the random encounters with Hollywood stars or the awkwardness of dating L.A men. These are things I probably will never experience for myself and I'm good with that. But it's still fun to hear how the fast paced L.A life has it's struggles beyond just the traffic. Give this book a listen. But speed it up a little. I did and it helped some of the drag time that comes from a single person reading a book outloud. and P.S. Sarah, good job with Eleanor lol

Loved it!

Loved getting to hear what Sarah sounds like and how relatable she is. Can you be my new best friend?! Totally funny and witty and can't wait for the next book of your shenanigans and dating fiascos.

So funny, don't wake up your partner laughing.

I have read and listened to the book. Audible version pairs brilliantly with the book. It is a plus to hear the author narrate their book. This is funny, cool, and just delightful. I've bought next book in the series. And having audible version will be a win win.
Grab this, weekend is coming. And will make a great Christmas gift.

so different from anything I've ever read before.

This story was really funny, I mean laugh out loud funny. When I started to listen to the audio I wasn't sure what to expect, I hadn't read the book yet and I was really happy I decided to give it a try.

A relatable and hilarious read

What’s not to love in this raw and brutally honest portrayal of divorce, dating and finding yourself in the city of...assholes. Couldn’t put it down, as each word made me laugh or commiserate in this world of colorful variety.

I wished it was funny...

I wish this were more funny, but it’s just not. The stories are just “meh” and the frequent uses of profanity feel forced - like the author is hoping that using “f*ck” in every other sentence will somehow inject humor in the stories. I wish I had the time back that I wasted on this one.

Overall ok

The story is well written but looses its fun factor very fast and then it turn to an actual complaint of life in LA, interesting like a Yelp review of modern California.
