I have enjoyed all audio books in the series the story and characters are amazing. The narrator "Jeffrey Kafer" brings the reading to life. Can’t wait until the next installment even though I already read the book. Great audio book series!

I think this book is primarily a set up for the next book. We are introduced to some new weapons and some old friends show up to help. I have followed Ryk Brown’s series from the beginning. The characters seem real and have a way of captivating me. I feel as if they are old friends that I drop in for a catch-up visit. The story is fast moving with lots of twists and turns. My biggest problem with Ryk Brown’s books is I just cannot put them down.

I read this as an audiobook downloaded from Audible. The book is six hours and thirty-seven minutes. Jeffrey Kafer does and excellent job narrating the story.
