About this listen

Zachary Elwood is the author of the popular poker behavior books Reading Poker Tells and Verbal Poker Tells. Exploiting Poker Tells is the third and final book in Elwood's poker tells trilogy.

In this book, Elwood focuses on practical, real-world considerations, answering questions like "When great poker reads are made, what factors are involved?" and "What behaviors are important to pay attention to and which should be ignored?"

Exploiting Poker Tells includes:

  • More than 140 detailed hand histories, some played by the author, and some played by others
  • Interviews with well-known pro players about reads they've made and their thoughts on tells
  • A quiz to test and reinforce reader learning

As a mostly recreational cash game player I new there were a lot tells my opponents were given off but I didn't know what they meant or what I should be looking for. After reading this book I was able to immediately identify the massive tells my opponents were giving away. This really upped my game especially in spots were I was on the fence about what to do. His examples were given from his own hand history and was easy to understand.

Highly recommended
