Interesting take!
Such an interesting book that not only discusses the skills of poker, but the mindset and control of emotions you need to have behind it. We all know meditation and a positive mindset are key to healthy daily activities, but why have I not heard about this for poker until now?? The book is easy to listen to, so insightful. and the narrator makes it easy to follow along. Would 100% recommend

I Have Taken To Poker
I'm not really much of a gambler. Although, I have once in a blue moon gone to a few casinos and played the slot machines, blackjack, roulette, and such. I have to admit that I have taken to poker, be at the boat or outside. While I have nothing against anyone who goes to the boat, gambling can be quite an addiction and one that I personally wouldn't want to get too caught up in. But that's just me. That said and my own personal biases set aside, I never would have imagined that there would be books that contain such helpful affirmations on something as enjoyable as poker. Since it can be addictive depending on how it's played and the amount of stakes involved, there are not only ways to keep the habit under control, but there are many ways to understand poker and become a better, more controlled player.

Poker Winner!
The authors did a tremendous job in outlining what goes on in the mind of a poker player and the importance of not giving in to their emotions, avoiding slipping into the dreaded state of 'tilt', when players are no longer relying on their strategy but rather going with their feelings. They've carefully crafted a set of powerful affirmations that will certainly help poker players remain in the right frame of mind during their games, and build mental resilience which will undoubtedly enhance their performance in poker in the long run.

I listened to this book because of the title.
I had to know what in the world a Poker Affirmation was.
This is a great meditation and self-motivation book for poker players to strengthen their mental game and concentration.
With soft background music, this audiobook is great for a time of relaxation as well as training.
Each affirmation has great tips, tricks, and strategies for the game of poker.
If you consider Poker Affirmations a metaphor for life, this audiobook will help with any endeavor you choose to undertake.
I recommend this audiobook.

Exactly what I wanted!

Great Book
Great book if you play poker. If you are playing a big tournament, it can be extremely nerve wracking as you eliminate players and move closer to the big pay. This book makes you relax, focus on what's important, and gives you stimulation. Once you listen to this audiobook, you will be able to make correct moves and bust the player on a tilt.

Helpful in allowing me to feel better before - during - and after a game
It’s a simple concept and easy to use. It’s all affirmations (no real user guide) and that’s exactly what I was looking for. Playing it in the background when I’m studying or getting ready for a game is great. I find that doing these after a game is even better as I think about how things went and how I get better.
