Story
To be a great poker player you need to stay calm and focused on whatever is happening. Regardless of whether you are playing online or in person, cash poker or tournament poker, it's vitally important to avoid losing control of your emotions. When a player gives in to their emotions they start playing irrationally; this is a state of mind known in the world of poker as ‘"tilt". Tilt describes the state of mind a poker player slides into when their emotions take over their decision-making process and they begin playing based on their feelings rather than on their strategy.

The Poker Stop-It List wasn't written by a mega pro. It was written by a fellow human who just loves (and now crushes) the game. I’m an established author. I created a blog followed by millions, as well as various books. Over the years, my followers never knew that I had a secret life playing poker. I wrote about parenting, relationships, life, introspective topics, and shared lots of opinions and stories. My gift has always been putting complex concepts and human dynamics into words that others connect with and understand. So, why not do it with poker, too?

More importantly, it gives you a framework for thinking about and analyzing verbal behavior at the poker table. The author analyzes many real poker hands: some from televised poker shows such as The World Series of Poker, Poker After Dark, and High Stakes Poker, some played by the author, and some submitted by other players.

There is a lot of money to be made at small-stakes no-limit hold'em because...surprise, surprise...most of the players aren't very good. However, few players understand exactly how to exploit these games. Competent players who generally play larger stakes will, of course, beat them. But they won't beat them for nearly as much as they ought to. Why? Because they don't understand how to adjust correctly.

Poker tells
Pretty basic material, but still good for the quick read that it is. Definitely good as a refresher.

Good resource
Not incredibly in depth but it was a good fast listen and gave many examples. He has other books with increased info. This isn’t meant to be that. Around an hour long to get through 200 is very fast paced. Many feel short changed but I bet their game will improve.

Speed Run
The speed of this book is really fast pace, maybe it's meant for you to listen like 5 times haha because in a blink of an eye the chapter might be over. Maybe this is a better book to be read than read to. But the content is very good!

Short and to the point(s),
Read'em and reap explained the why and this boils it down to a summary. with a few additions. If you keep study or live notes, this is must have for the price if lunch. I'll add a hard copy but this is going in my poker listening playlist.

Great Info
This book is straight to the point, no extra babble, has some great tells that I wasn't aware of before, but he does repeat a few & most are just signs of stress where you have to put together a collection of tells to lean one way or another in your read. That said, I learned enough new tells to make the purchase well worth it & I'll be recommending this book to others.
