Story
Is your child wild about dinosaurs? No one quite understands why so many kids go through a “dinosaur phase.” It may be because they are extinct and although they may have been huge and hungry, they are harmless to a child since they no longer exist. These mysterious and powerful creatures interest many children and are a fun and exciting way to introduce relaxation, mindfulness and meditation. There is nothing as powerful as this to help refocus, regulate and relax the human brain.

Story
Living is very stressful for everyone, and I found in the meditations a little "safe space," that's what I call it. Whenever I can, I like listening to my guided meditations, relaxing and flying...in a different world filled with peace and relaxation. Over the last three years, meditations have been a big part of my life and have helped me a lot in many situations. For this reason, I always thought it would be nice to find something for my children. I like to read them a story every night, but sometimes it's not possible.

Bedtime stories are part of the intimate and personal baggage of many adults who were once children. Even today, the value of the fictional stories is unchanged and fundamental for facing the small challenges of everyday life with serenity and courage. Through their heroes, a person learns to manage anxiety and not to fear difficulties. The stories remain etched in the mind of the adults and accompany them forever throughout their lives.

Life is very stressful for everybody, and I found in meditations a bit of "safe space," that's how I call it. Anytime I can, I like to listen to my guided meditations, relax and fly away to a different world full of peace and relaxation. In the past three years, meditations was a big part of my life and helped me a lot in many situations....I love to read a story to them every night, but sometimes this is not possible. That's the reason why I started to collaborate with some guided meditation professionals to create five stories that I could play at home for my kids.

Story
In 1954, in a remote South American village, a four-year-old girl was abducted and then abandoned deep in the Colombian rainforest. So begins the incredible true story of Marina Chapman, who went on to spend several years alone in the jungle, her only family a troop of capuchin monkeys. Using instinct to guide her, she copied everything they did and soon learned to fend for herself. At around 10 years old, a completely feral Marina was returned to civilisation by hunters, who sold her as a slave to a brothel. Beaten daily and groomed to be a prostitute, she escaped - to live the perilous existence of a Colombian city street kid.

This soothed me into a peaceful sleep!
I love this! I'm a big Alison Larkin fan and I get pretty much everything she narrates. Last book I listened to of hers was The English American which made me want to stay awake as it was such an exciting story, as did her reading of The Man in the Brown Suit by Agatha Christie. This is totally different and she wrote it on the spot in the studio I gather. It's really perfect if you are having trouble sleeping!. Just perfect. I love it! I listened to it on my i-Phone and fell asleep while she was talking. When I woke up in the night it was so soothing to hear Alison's gentle English voice next to me, speaking very slowly and I fell right back to sleep again. There was a story about her childhood camping in Africa and something about a Mouse called Harry but I don't know what else because I was asleep. I play to buy a copy for two friends of mine who can't sleep right now. I hope she records a whole series of these. Alison really does have a magical voice.
