Publisher's summary

I know how this story ends. And it’s NOT with the best friends falling in love.

Even if Chase checks all my boxes—and then some. He’s the perfect guy, and he deserves the perfect girl. Which, to be clear, is not me. I knew one day I would have to let him go. I just didn’t know it would be so soon.

Or that my traitorous friend would be the one setting him up with a string of potential girlfriends.

Now, I have an impossible choice to make...I can watch Chase find love with someone else. Or I can throw my hat in the ring and face my biggest fear, one not even he knows.

One that might make him run for the Texas hill country.

But if I don’t make a play, I might lose my best friend and my only chance at love....

Falling for Your Best Friend is a laugh-out-loud, heartwarming romcom with a neurodivergent main character, a cinnamon roll hero, and a baby goat named Sergeant Pepper. All the chemistry you want with closed-door romance!

Chase deserved better

I found this author when I read one of her books at the public library. I definitely wanted more of her books, and I realized that the book was part of the series so I started buying them and reading them or (listening to them) I found this book a little difficult to listen to not because she got the autism spectrum stuff or right, or wrong or anything like that. I also deal with a lot of issues that Harper dealt with in this book. It just seemed like it was an unequal relationship that Chase was going to do anything for her, and she made a bunch of excuses. I just didn’t see anything spectacular enough about her that she deserved a man like Chase just my opinion. Although I did not care for this book, I will be buying the next one in line and looking for more of her work because I believe she’s a good writer. This one just wasn’t for me.

Clean romance with a twist

I really loved the story and how the characters dealt with someone who was different. I also liked how the “different” character wasn’t allowed to be defined by a diagnosis. I gave it four stars because it was a bit over the top in the “this totally could have happened realm” and was pretty long and drawn out. It earned the four stars it got by being really funny, having interesting dialogue and descriptions and a lot of scenarios that totally could happen- even if they were a bit outlandish.

Absolutely loved this!!!

I love Emma’s series!!! It has the typical tropes but she adds a twist to all of them. I especially loved this book bc the main character is on the spectrum and/or has sensory issues. It helped me to understand a little bit about a couple of my own children. Thank you, Emma!!

Not my cup of tea

Purchased this by accident… decided to give it a try. I think the narrators threw me off. His female voice was annoying… made the females all sound air-headed. I just didn’t enjoy it.
