Sharindis is drawn into the King's Council. Though unable to see the Ministers clearly, she can hear them quite well. Her knowledge of Farindia lets her take an active, and often aggressive, role in the Council.

Stavin returns to Twin Bridges triumphant, and changed in ways he won't understand for years to come.

Character development is very good.

Good dialogue and action, every bit of it is entertaining

It was well written and I enjoyed the progression of the story! I loved how the characters evolved along with the story! I especially loved how in an honorless world the warriors of Kel-kevan from birth to understand honor! I have read entire series 5 times and it never gets old! It's absolutely my favorite fantasy series!
