About this listen

Victory begins with an idea, and that idea forms in the place between galaxies.

Drifting in the intergalactic deep, Dash begins the final push toward peace. From the depths of Realm lore, the Kingsport takes shape, one component at a time.

But the war is not over, and the Deepers aren’t done.

The space beyond our galaxy is far from empty, and the Arkubators, Deeper worlds, and other secrets begin to reveal themselves as the Realm forces fight their way, gate to gate, into areas never seen by humans. Dash will journey farther than any other human has ever gone - or so he thinks. What awaits him is a secret that will change everything humans know about their origins.

Only two questions will remain: Can humanity win? And at what cost?

Great Continuation of the Series

The one thing I like about this series is that it progresses. Even though there are similar situations in each book, those situations truly take the story into new depths and arenas! this book is no different! If you started this series, and you like the series, then you need to continue with this book! I am never bored with this series, the stories, the narration - and I plan to keep on listening!!

Excellent series

Of all of Chaney’s different space operas, this is by far my favorite and the narrator is outstanding.

Repeat

Battles repeat and Dash's girlfriend is starting to get annoying with repeating "are you sure"?

What is continuity? Gone is what it is.

our protagonist continues his fight with the deepers. but something is amiss.. the guardian ring they built in the black gate to watch the Orion side of the gate is gone when they return to investigate a monastary.. ragsdale is not in command of it and is somehow on the sagittarius side of the gate.
the author even writes in banter offering custodian a name change to guardian.. for one of his clones..... which is exactly what guardian was in black gate.

this author has completely retconned how hard to kill keepers are as well as the stinger weapon from black gate is gone entirely. but the most egregious fracking thing about this book and the 2 before it is the messenger is getting legions of ppl killed trying to destroy whole fleets and fortresses that have nothing friendly in them when he could just use a ghost missile to erase entire solar systems. no explanation given as to why these weapons are missing.. the dialogue is fuckin cringe and after 13 books im done waiting for it to improve. I find myself no longer interested in how this all ends if the bits I like keep getting snapped out of existence each new book..

those of you who got to here might have remembered that besides the doomsday weapons... they have also lost the comet missile tech or the ship breaker missile ships and invented weapons are often reinvented as a new weapon in a later book like the author thinks lore is a casual guideline and that we the reader base are goldfish.

how gates now require devices and harnesses to generate except you know.... the one that fuckin started this leg of the stort.

I'm done. and if your reading this review your as dumb as I was starting and trying to stick with this series....wish I could get a refund or have physical copies to burn.
