About this listen

There were three things that I wanted in life.
To dance like nobody was watching.
Travel the world.
And fall hopelessly in love.

I did all three.

We met at my older brother’s house and instantly I knew that he was trouble.
He kissed me, right there in the bathroom without a care in the world.
And from that moment on, I was his.

We were young, brave and naïve when we met.
Sneaking around and falling in love.
Giuliano Ferrara was perfection.
A beautiful, crazy mistake.
With his big brown eyes and his boyish charm.

But then the world fell apart and things didn’t go as planned.
I never quite forgot him, no matter how hard I tried.

Years later, we saw each other again.
And by the look in his eye, I instantly knew.
The sweet romantic boy I once loved is long gone.
In his place, a dominant, powerful man.
Who gets what he wants, when he wants it.

We can never be together.
It breaks my heart that he refuses to accept it.

I’m the object of his affection.
And what Giuliano Ferrara wants.
Giuliano Ferrara takes.

So many twists

Really enjoyed Giuliano’s love story. It is taboo and exciting, dangerous and passionate. Talk about burning up the sheets. These two are fire.

Wow

I’m glad I did not listen to the negative reviews and I had a clue from reading the first book that something was up and not ALL was as it seemed. So so glad I continued because it was a GRWAT book and the narrator’s was awesome

Narration was THE BEST

I always like TL Swan’s writing. It’s engaging, believable, and her characters are well developed.
Her change to duet narration is a step up. Her writing is so much better with this format.
Love the narrators. They both did a great job with accents, distinction between characters. The producers did a great job of flow between narrators- it seemed much more natural than other diet and multi-performer audiobooks.
Keep it coming!

OTC!!!

I’ve read quite a few steamy novels but this one…….Off The Chain!!! The storyline is compelling and complements the previous book well. Amazing twists!! The narration is expressive. Keep up the masterful work TL Swan!!

Great, Fun Story

Love the story and the performance as with TL Swan always perfect. The performance man you laugh, think out the box and smile right to the end. The story at times the female lead got on my nerve but I found this action with many female leans, however, because the overall story was good it didn't bother me much at all. Story worth 5 stars.

predidictable, repetitive

i would have liked a little more depth to the characters. if you've read the Stanton series the big "dilemma" was predictable and it was just a matter of the big reveal...I found it a bit tiresome.

i felt there were so many holes in the story...people and sequence of events. If I'd been reading I would have gone back to clarify some things... but I didn't care enough to find a book.

The ending snow scenes were crazy-- who runs up the side of a ski mountain in street shoes and no gloves. Seriously?

There were some very over used phrases in the book... not sure if that pops out more in audio.

it was fine, but not the best by this author by far

Not my favorite TL Swan Book

I really struggled with this one. The whole insest thing was hard to get through. The whole time I was hoping they weren't related because if they were that's just nasty. I also didn't like that Enrico's family didn't know he was alive. It was selfish. I'm sure I will listen to Anna's story when it comes out because I'm invested at this point and need to know how the series wraps up

Amazing audio

This is one of those books that has to be listened to. As the follow up to the Italian, we follow Franchesca and Guiliano and that delicate relationship. Stick with it - I promise you won't be let down. Sets up nicely for Valentino - The narration duo on this one was truly amazing.
