He’s the Man of My Dreams
I met a man and I can’t tell anyone who he is. I shouldn’t tell you about the things we do. The things he does to me. The things I do to him. I shouldn’t tell you that he’s the love of my life. The sex is hot; the romance is real; the love is explosive, and the lies will shatter everything in both of our lives.
He Doesn’t Know I Have a Secret
You see, he doesn’t really know who I am. And I found out I don’t really know who he is. We both have secrets. We both have hidden desires. And we’re both about to go on the roller-coaster ride of our lives.
Filthy Little Lies is a steamy, shocking stand-alone reverse harem contemporary novel by New York Times best-selling author J. S. Cooper.

Saskia, twenty-six, doesn’t believe in fairy tales. People felt sorry for her when she was younger, but not any more. Now she is the one people talk about. Her life revolves around sex, and she is unapologetic. She believes men are pigs, but as long as she doesn’t ever get attached, she won’t be another victim. She has two best friends that mean everything to her. Natasha, whom she met at college, and Tom, with whom she secretly still has benefits. She has a boyfriend, though that label doesn’t really apply. She is a kept woman, and Aiden treats her well. He is a little older and he doesn’t love her, which suits her fine. When he isn’t visiting her, she is out on the town and on the prowl.
Saskia shares her story in part one of this book. Most of her secrets eventually come out, but she only shares what wants to, and sometimes that means altering some of the facts. Her life is complicated, but once her heart begins to get involved, everything that had kept her grounded gets turned upside down. She meets Dominic at a club one night, and her downward spiral begins. Aiden puts pressure on her to step things up a notch. Tom shows hints that he might not always have her best interests in mind. And she hates Natasha’s husband Brad, who is an ever-present threat to her friendship with Natasha.
Saskia’s story is dark and gritty. There are layers to every character, and all hide secrets. It is impossible to predict the direction the story will go because Saskia herself is all over the place. Part two is told from a different perspective, shedding light on some of the gaps and errors in Saskia’s storytelling. Saying anything in particular about it would ruin the reading of the first part, so suffice it to say that though it seems impossible to believe that things cannot get any more dirty or convoluted, they do. The end is no fairy tale, though it might be considered a happy ending in the couple’s messed up world.
The wild twists and turns in Saskia’s filthy story have you wondering who to root for – if anyone! This story is not for everyone, but it will definitely take the reader on a ride. The story is well-written. The intricate storyline is fascinating. Its presentation is a little different, but it serves to keep the reader in suspense. This story is plot-driven. The characters are carefully crafted. The story is written in first person. Part one is in Saskia’s POV, part two from another’s. I rate this book 4.5 stars.
I received an advance copy of this book and audiobook am voluntarily leaving a review.

I struggled with the characters but the twists kept me going. Not exactly a romance, more like obsession.
Brooklyn's reading was flat for me, sorry.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
Twisted

She meets "Dominic" at a bar and and would not give him the time of day. Then she see him at her local Starbucks and he finds out her name. From there they make plans to hook up on the train. After finding out they knew some of the same people things fell apart.
To deal with the fallout Saskia tries to set up a night of surprises but she might be the one surprised.
Moving on from both of them, Saskia turns to her friends to help her... Her best friend Natasha and her husband Brad. She has had a past with Brad. But is it still in the past?
Once she finds out she is pregnant she needs to figure out who that father is and who will raise the baby. But will the craziness stop there?
This book does jump between the past and the current time period and the future is often mentioned. Books that usually do that bug me but in this one it works.
I did receive a free copy of this audible for an honest review...
