Looking for a Fake Fiancé

Have you ever wanted to prove someone wrong so badly that you could taste it?

It doesn’t matter if they’re right. The fact that they had the audacity to go there is what counts.

Hi. It’s me. I’m that person.

The man I’ve been casually seeing told me I’m not “wife material” and I should “lower my expectations.” Didn’t he realize I lowered them the moment I met him for dinner?

Obviously not.

Am I petty? Maybe. Annoyed? Of course. Determined? Definitely.

I need someone to help me flaunt my new engagement—my fiancé couldn’t wait to pop the question because I’m that amazing—in his face.
The problem? I don’t have a boyfriend, let alone a husband-to-be.
Which brings us to you.

Are you handsome? Successful? A smooth talker extraordinaire?
Are you willing to do all the things that someone madly in love would do?

Putting your hand on the small of my back. Forehead kissing. Acting like I’m a treasure you can’t live without. I need you to be prepared to do all those things … and maybe more.

What do you get out of this? I’m willing to negotiate terms—especially if they include a job and a place to stay. It’s a long story.

One night. One event. Let’s put on one heck of a show.

From USA Today and Amazon Charts best-selling author comes a “hot and hilarious!” fake-dating tale between two frenemies turned roommates-to-lovers. Fans of close-proximity, and blue-collar, small-town heroes will fall madly in love with this story.

This one was so much fun!

Banks Carmichael is the "baby" of the family - a position he is not willing to relinquish. He's got everything working for him. He's super cute, adorable, everyone loves him and he gets away with everything. Including the never-ending pranks he pulls on his brothers. Life has been pretty good until his newlywed brother and his wife rope him into hosting her best friend Sara at his place for a few weeks. Sara's been down on her luck, having lost her great Jon, her boyfriend and her apartment in one sitting. Neither one is happy with the arrangement because they have a history of bickering and it won't be fun. Well, after a hilarious situation that includes a certain "toy" clogging a pipe, Banks agrees to take Sara in. Well, we all know where this is going, right? And we're here for it!

Oh, I had SO MUCH FUN with this one! Banks could be just an annoying man-child but he is actually adorable and swoony. Sara is hurt and so very much alone and despondent and Banks (and with him come all the Carmichaels) is just what she needed!

As soon as I finished this one, I went to get the stories of the other Carmichaels because, just like Sara, I feel for this whole family of chicken daddy pranks, silly races, Sunday dinners and a man who takes an old lady to lunch regularly.

Narration: This narrator duo is an absolute dream! Mackenzie Cartwright plays Sara perfectly - sassy but with an underlying sadness and vulnerably that's very touching. Jacob Morgan is at his best as the witty, charming, swoony and adorable Banks (as well as his family. He's a hoot as Damaris!). He cranked up the Southern boy full on for this one and it's a delight! Highly recommend!

This story had me laughing

I absolutely loved the characters personalities. How they all interacted with each other. Their witty humor and their love for each other was great! I enjoyed them more than the story line itself, but it too was enjoyable. Definitely a good book, and YES to the narrator’s!

Sweet romance tale - easy listen

I got this book because of the sale that was going on and wanted an easy listen after a heavy one that I finished….It was fun, sweet and love the Banks’s family and all the handsome brothers. I am sure there are other spinoffs from the other brothers’ perspective.

Frenemies

I read the Carmichael Family Series out of order, but it was easy to follow. I thought the FMC, Sara, would be annoying because she was all over the place. Her character development made her really likable in the end. The MMC, Banks, was funny from the start. This man was a walking green flag, and these two were good together. I'm excited to read the other books.

The perfect rom com ❤️

I loved the story, all the characters and the writing! Definitely worth a credit! The narrators were both on point but Jacob Morgan knocks it out of the park! His accents are perfection!! Can’t wait to listen to the next!

Enemies to lovers...

I very much enjoyed this book. Flaunt is an enemies to lovers story. The sparks just fly off the pages between Banks and Sara. It's full of humor, sass, and all the feels. I absolutely love the Carmichael's family dynamic throughout. What a great read.

Mackenzie Cartwright and Jacob Morgan were pure magic delivering this story.

Bank’s is my favorite

Bank’s is my favorite character by far. I really liked the light heartedness of this character. At first I was wondering how Locke was going to find him a match. He seemed like a pain in the butt. With this book, it all comes together, his charm is by far the best. Great job on thinking out of the box.

Fun Hate to Love Romance

Oh Banks! Not going to lie, I was nervous going into this book. I don’t always love a goofy hero, but Adriana Locke did such a great job with this book!

Banks are Sara are NOT friends. He is constantly avoiding her. I loved the interactions between them, and watching them finally come around to each other. Banks definitely had another side to him that I loved getting to see.

4.5 stars!
