About this listen

"I was sitting at the end of the bar sipping single-malt Scotch when I spotted the tall blond woman with the large green eyes and the small gray gun."

The next thing Jake Lassiter knows, the woman pumps three bullets into the man on the next barstool. Lassiter, the linebacker-turned-lawyer, has a new client. She's a stunning South Beach model; the dead man is her wealthy father; and the murder case is a slam dunk for the prosecution. Or is it?

This is not my first book in the series & it won’t be my last! Lassiter is a complete character. Not perfect, with human flaws but so fine! Should be a movie series!

Great story & performance

The publisher's summary for Flesh & Bones may be the best I have ever read; I would not add or take away a word! This novel is the 7th in Paul Levine's excellent Jake Lassiter legal thriller series. It is a fun listen with a seemingly very unlikely outcome. I recommend this series.

Excellent legal thriller with great narration!

Jake Lassiter as lawyer and rescuer of a damsel in distress makes for an exciting read. The author's use of Jake's "asides" add humor to a convoluted plot. Looking forward to reading more in the series.

Great whodunit

I love this series, especially on audio! Luke Daniels' voice is so nice to listen to, and he's so good good at doing different characters' voices, including Jack Nicholson and Al Pacino. Paul Levine's novels are so well written that I am sure I'd love reading them, but I can't get enough of Luke Daniels' voice. Now on to my next Paul Levine novel.

Great Author and Best Narrator!

Excellent Jake Lassiter novel. I would like to know why the author never continues the story from previous book, but good read anyway.

I would recommend this book.

Excellent narration

i enjoyed this book, as well as others in the series. It kept me interested to the end trying to puzzle out the "who done it" mystery, as well as following the legal procedures and courtroom drama. Luke Daniels does a thoroughly professional job of breathing life into the story line as it unfolds.

An entertaining listen
