Stories of War!!

This was a refreshing changing from the main storyline of the series. It is fascinating to see how things operate and can change for the people in these books. The reading talent is always top notch and I eagerly await the next book in the series.
Plus it is interesting to know we may see more of some of these characters in future books.
Highly recommend this science fiction work to anyone looking for some fun.

Good world building.

Fantastic writing and story telling.
It does bother me that the male narrator says "WW2" and not "World War 2".
There are more syllables in WW2. Why would you do that? It isn't easier.

A stunningly good anthology

After listening to the first three books of land and sea and enjoying the story arc, I was skeptical of how well an anthology was going to play out. That being said, this anthology was great. A lot of variety, and a lot of action. It’s the little things that truly make this anthology a great listen. TDDB.

Another BLP novel!

Another great Land and Sea story narration, this time with a male and female narrator. The only thing I would suggest is that they both work in tandem and voice male and female characters separately.

More perspectives of the war

Really fun listens of different parts of the war touching up on things the main storyline. A few questions answered, some new things added, and the cover art itself gives a look at one of the fish which is neat. Pardoe does a good job with these multi perspective stories you just have to keep in mind that these stories are told from characters that do not assume you know anything so you will hear some repetitive descriptions. If you have made it this far in however this will be nothing new. Another good group of stories and I am eagerly awaiting more installments as this IP makes its progress.

Good pile of short stories.

Most of the stories were decent and good world building material. I think it would have been better if they were edited down for this all in one book to cut back on the exposition to the world every time for each story. Hearing the same repeat of info at the start of many to introduce the world was a bit tedious.

I did enjoy the new potential main storyline viewpoints this gives us. I would like more GRD oriented small squad combat in the future as well as air force PJ missions.
