Publisher's summary

It’s the near future, and thanks to a perfect storm of reckless banking practices, hyperinflation, a stock market gone mad, and the negligence of our elected officials, the entire social, political, and economic infrastructure of America has collapsed. Chaos reigns in the streets, medical treatment is no longer available, and a silent coup has placed a dangerous group of men at the helm of a false government.

America’s fate is in the hands of those few individuals who have the survival skills, the faith, and the forethought to return this country to the state its founding fathers intended.

A Capstone for the Rawles' Patriot series....

A very solid conclusion for the Patriot series. Rawles is a Prepper and blogger and he teaches as he tells his story.

He relies very much on world history to build his story. Consequently, his stories are plausible and motivating.

Highly recommended.

The story continues

The story begun in Patriots continues in this parallel book. The story tracks alongside, filling in gaps and expanding on the information provided in Patriots. I thoroughly enjoyed the information provided, the narrative and the tale. Listened to the story twice, then bought the written book.

completing the series

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

i was not a hugh fan of this.. but it does help to complete the series.. Bring the all the players up to date. Not the best in the series but not horrible either. No where near as good as the others

Well written story. Narration is just ok.

even thought some of the details get a bit tedious, the overall story is well written.

Powerful waste of time

Loved Patriots, finished this only because I paid for it.. Terrible organization and story line.

This series is one of my favorites

This series of books is one of my favorites. I don’t mind the rehashing of different perspectives or storylines from the other books.

What drove me nuts about this particular performance was how the narrator pronounced Belle Fourche. He would say “Bell Fooshā”. From all the locals and people in the region it is pronounced “Bell Foosh”.

My suggestion to the narrator would be to call the city hall or county courthouse of places in books he may be reading if he is unfamiliar with them.

I live in MT and we have several towns with names that are always mispronounced when spoken by people unfamiliar with the “correct” way to pronounce them. It is just a pet peeve of mine.
