Since the moment Imani Prince joined the Grand High Vampires' legion, she's been drawn to the self-assured and darkly sexual Robert "Butch" Richardson. I enjoyed this story but still wish the male narrator wasn't narrating. But the female narrator is great in this.

I think this is one of my favorite couplings. I.
did give this book one less star than the others, because I feel like a false narrative was being pushed at one point. We've learned a lot about the girls especially Paige, And at one point in this book you're supposed to Be angry with her best friend and leave her to her sadness, at a time where she thinks she will be hurt by Butch. No true friend would do that. They would stay by you because they know that you will meet them when the man breaks your heart. Other than that, this was an AMAZING book, I definitely loved the new characters that were added in because they had so many sides to them you didn't know who was good or bad.

Suzanne Wright never disappoints. Each book and each story is worth the read. Each character is unique and brings something different to the story. She does a great job with character development. You literally fall in love with her characters.

I really enjoyed Imani and Butch! They were steamy and awesome! I can't believe the author has actually gotten me interested in the other members of Jared and Sam's team!

I really kind of love this series. I love the strong women and the alpha men who fall to their knees for them. This romance is similar to the previous books. The former commitment fobe, finds the one woman that can make them change their ways. However, people from both the Hero and the Heroine’s pasts, try to come between them. On top of that, political tensions brings war to the island where the grand pair resides. There is action, passion and humor all rapped up in a tale of a secret vampire society!

Very exciting with lots of action scenes and really intense moments. A wonderful romantic tale with hot sex. The fight scenes are so interesting, a unique storyline. Hope there’s more books to come as there are many wonderful characters left.

Imani Prince is a new Legion soldier who has paid her dues. Her human life was stolen from her. She was made Vampire against her will. Imani was able to sever the blood bond between herself & her maker, then had to run & hide to keep from being used for her gift. But she’s giving Robert ‘Butch’ Richardson a second chance. A year ago, she walked away when he said he couldn’t commit. But he says he’s ready now and Imani is the only one for him.
Imani gets to deal with Butch’s one night exes, an attack with an experimental drug, and a battle with dragon mercenaries.
Narration was ok but not noteworthy.
