Week 1 calling me out was brutal not gonna lie had no idea how many of my go to habits were just straight up toxic. Week 3 hit hard too cause i used to think sarcasm was my personality turns out i was just dodging real conversations. Week 5 felt weirdly healing helped me stop half assing apologies and actually rebuild stuff with my sister after we didn’t talk for months. Not every section was deep some weeks kinda dragged but overall this thing kept punching me in the gut in a good way.

Even tho this audiobook mainly speaks to folks dealing with rocky relationships or work drama, it really hit me that I’ve got some habits I didn’t even realize were kinda toxic.. Like, I always thought I was just "keeping the peace" but turns out I was low-key avoiding stuff that needed to be dealt with. It made me step back and think.. maybe it’s not just about the big blowups, but the small patterns that sneak in and mess with your vibe. It wasn't just eye-opening.. it srsly shook me and made me rethink a lot!!

Well, I guess, the best - and intended way to use this book is to focus on each weekly part and don’t go further until the week ends. This way, you probably will have enough time to learn each of lessons properly and make some conclusions.
For me, it’s more usual thing to listen the whole thing all at once, and I believe that’s also typical behavior for many if not most other reader/listeners. And yes, with audiobooks it’s even more true since we have more time for listening – during chores, working out, and so on.

So, now I want to start from the very beginning to make it more actually practical. And I like that the 1st week is all about identifying and neutralizing those toxic activities – pretty interesting to implement. I also like the habit-centered approach, because in fact our lives are mostly learned and repeated routines – just need to train the right ones.
