Introducing Noah Reid
Part Jason Bourne. Part Bruce Lee. All Action.
When a crossbow's arrow kills the firm's biggest client, new lawyer Noah Reid is sucked into a world of murder, madness, and mayhem for crimes that go back generations. With the body count of those he loves threatening to explode, is Noah, a missionary's son and disciple of a Shaolin Buddhist Master up to the challenge?
The only way to find out is to thrust himself into the mouth of the tiger....

I really like Noah Reid because he’s a real human being. He can totally kickass and beat the crap out of the bad guys, but he can be a complete wuss, like when he sees a gorgeous babe in the elevator.
Nice work!

But if you want something to entertain you while you turn off your brain, I’d highly recommend Fury Unleashed. It’s a fun ride of action, thrills and even a bit of romance and comedy!
Pure Guilty Escapism!

There’s humor in this story but it’s natural. Most guys can relate to acting like a dork when they try to approach a random beautiful girl that they just saw.
The East West thing works great. Chinese/Caucasian. Christian/Buddhist. Martial arts/armed weapons. But with added finesse.
Wes Lowe knows his stuff, offering insights into a secret world in an exciting thrilling story.
Bruce Lee meets Mother Theresa meets John Wick

There’s lot of martial arts action and a bit of its history is woven into the story.
Wes Lowe’s narration is steady and pleasing. I don’t like any male narrating female’s roles. This one was still not great but it was at least tolerable.
Watch out Indiana!

I liked the narration. Wes Lowe’s got a nice natural voice and doesn’t overact. I usually hate men’s voices trying to sound like women, no matter who is doing it. I wasn’t crazy about it here either but it was okay.
Happy to recommend this book to all fans of action thrillers.
Excellent!

Not a big fan.

The performance was tolerable but not thrilling. I like narrators with a lot more pizazz. Give me more sizzle.
Noah? No.

I liked it because the characters and the settings are so authentic. I’ve been to Hong Kong several times and Lowe’s descriptions are so vivid, I felt like I was there in one of the back alleys with its funny little shops and sidewalk carts with hawkers yelling out. As someone who is learning martial arts, I liked the way that there was a bit of background as well as the action moves.
I like knowing why people are the way they are. Noah’s been all over the place and for a guy in his twenties, has gone through a lot. The Triad leader Chin is not bad because he was born that way. He had a real interesting history.
The narration was easy to listen to. Not over the top.
Great Thrill Ride.

I like the even pace of Wes Lowe’s narration. Some might find it a little slow but that’s easy to speed up if you want to.
No problem in recommending this. Should mention I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Meet Noah Reid

I loved Noah especially. He’s a real action hero like a combination of Bruce Lee and Captain America. He’s got real depth to his character. On the surface, he’s an easy-going guy but on the inside, he struggles with demons, particularly about the murder of his missionary parents ten years ago by an addict that they tried to help.
I also enjoyed the narration. I don’t listen to a lot of audiobooks so I can’t say I’m an expert but there’s something about an author narrating his own writing that I have always found appealing.
A GREAT NEW FIND.
