Excellent stuff, and mnemonics is the easiest way to learn vocabulary, along with just about anything else. Good examples.

Would've been better if she spelled out the words and gave examples for each word. should also have given better examples with the words that she did give examples for.

lots of words, but could be better

I appreciate that I can listen to this on the way to and from work, but the narrator pronounces things incorrectly SO FREQUENTLY and it sort of drives me insane. You can still understand what word she is referring to so it’s not that big of a deal, it’s just driving me a little insane. Overall very helpful!

Good way to passively study

I'm impressed with this guidebook. I found it a very useful book to learn English. Their exercises may seem very simple but they are really useful, they have helped me to learn the location of the notes faster, they are written in a simple and easy to understand way. I hope this guide will help you a lot. Worth to recommended!!

Recording isn't great quality. There are lots of mispronunciations.
Gets the job done though. It seems to help me learn some new words.

Being a non-native English speaker, most books on the topic were difficult to understand and to implement. But, this one is really for people like me. Simple yet sophisticated at the same time. I am so happy with the purchase!

The go to guide for english vocabulary, spellings and pronunciation in my honest opinion. Everything you need is explained in plain simple english.

The reader of this book clearly did not read a pronunciation guide for the words that she did not know. The words with French roots are not even attempted and some of the easiest words are mispronounced. Some examples include Bowler as Bowel-er and Barrage is pronounced Bare-Age. I'm really disappointed. I was hoping that I could play this during my commute from work, but I cannot stomach it. Save your money/credits and look elsewhere!

Horrible Mispronunciation

I found myself deciphering the correct word from the definition as MANY words are not pronounced correctly. Words that end in D are pronounced with a hard "t" sound. The emphasis on syllables is "off" on words as well.

After the 3rd chapter I focused on how often the words were not said correctly versus new vocabulary.

There should have been more emphasis on pronouncing words using the widely used/accepted and alternatively as it is in the book.

The mispronounced words abound
