About this listen

To some he’s a medical genius. To others, a twisted angel of mercy with a necessary solution to what he sees as an ugly dilemma. Only one man can help Dr. Death face the evil of his ways.

Henry Siphuncle has a selfless mission: releasing his patients forever from their distasteful imperfections. It’s for their own good. And the world’s. Even Henry’s own wife didn’t survive his disgust. Nameless has tracked him across the country to an isolated rural community, where the residents are grateful for their new free clinic. For Henry, it might just be the end of the road.

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Dean Koontz comes Gentle Is the Angel of Death, part 2 of Season 2 of Nameless, a gripping collection of stories about a man in search of the truth, the past, and those who owe a debt of blood. Follow him through each story, which can be read or listened to in a single sitting.

Great story!!!!

Problem... no. Plural. Problems with playback. Major issues. However, regardless, it was really terrific! 5 stars and thumbs up!

Eerie and disconcerting

Nameless continues his mission of saving individuals and stopping organized evil, though knows almost nothing of his past and what instigated this compulsion to right wrongs.

Nameless Book 2

Another fantastic story in the Nameless franchise. This time Nameless uses the name Keyser Soze from the Usual Suspects fame. This time Nameless goes after a twisted Doctor who thinks he is killing people compassionately . Great characters and storyline. Again Edoardo Ballerini does a master full job of narrating.

One of my favorite, favorite favorite

I know it’s really weird to say this but I’m crazy about nameless. And Dean Koontz is writing is just poetry. I can’t wait for the next one.

Enjoyed the Audible edition, but...

I've enjoyed all of the stories in season 1 and season 2 of the Nameless series. Edoardo Ballerini
is one of my favorite narrators. BUT...Mr. Koontz, even the hill people of Arkansas don't speak in that dialect. Their word choices aren't realistic. Mr. Ballerini's pronounciation of Ouachita is not how we pronounce it. In Arkansas it is pronounced WASH-uh-tah or WASH--uh-taw :)

Wow, scary in its simplicity

These stories in the Nameless series are always amazing to read, this one was sooo scary in its coldness. For me, the best chapter was the last one, which pertains to Nameless himself; it's so realistically ominous to the current political climate that it's scary as, well you know.

Excellent

Loving the series - the darkness of Human nature contrasted with fun quips. Excellent to listen to while traveling cross country.
