An author for mystery lovers!!!!

This is an excellent mystery. It is the 9th book in the Wolf Lake Thriller Series. This series does not need to be listened to in order because each book can be listened to as a standalone. I prefer listening in the order they were written due to continuously developing relationships that I think would otherwise get lost along the way.
This book has two mysteries taking place simultaneously. One of a six year old who is kidnapped by a supposed stranger. The other of a deputy who has unknowingly gotten involved in a "single white female” type of relationship. Both have satisfying conclusions.
This author deserves much more recognition and many more listeners.
Daniela Acitelli does a very good job narrating. She is a little slow and I have to listen at 1.3 speed.
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

TERRIBLE NARRATOR

Daniela Acitella fails to do this novel justice. Her dull monotone detracts from the novel to such extent that I can't continue to listen. I will not buy another book narrated by Acitella.
