What do you say? What do you do? These questions and many others are answered in this book. The answers come from real life, learned in the trenches and valleys of fighting cancer and learning to love through it. You will discover how a tragedy can turn into a triumph, how to understand what cancer is and how it's treated, how not to be one of the many well-intentioned dragons, how to really help your loved one through their journey, and how to implement many practical ideas to love, support, and help.

You have more power to help than you may think. If you feel like you don't know what to do or say, this book is for you.

Slow start but worth the wait

My brother has stage IV brain cancer and I was so tired, and could tell he was too, of everyone, myself included, telling him "It's going to be ok" or ""Stay strong". There is nothing I want more than to connect with him and give him even the slightest bit of comfort. This book gave me the tools and knowledge/understanding to do that.

Don't let the religious background chapters in the beginning scare you off. After the first few chapters the book explodes with incredibly useful information.

My family and I are so thankful for this book.

Save Your Money

after hours of rambling on about his story and how good intentioned people did wrong things (dragons) there was basically no advice the whole book can be boiled down to the last 30 min which is summed up as pray for them, cook for them, offer rides, help with money
I feel for him and his wife and hope all is well but this a bad book filled with common sense advice and im shocked someone actually published this

Waste of money

Totally useless. Blessings, angels and demons …. I mean, come on! Ridiculous, self absorbed, and whiny. Don’t waste your credits.
