About this listen

Hell hath no fury…like an angry god of the underworld.

Persephone is missing. When Hades uses every resource at his disposal and fails to locate his wife, he takes drastic measures. He hires the Montague & Strong Detective Agency to locate her, bring her back to him, and most importantly, find out who dared to kidnap his wife.

Now, Monty and Strong must uncover a plot to overthrow Hades and steal the underworld, return Persephone to her husband unharmed, and prevent a god from unleashing his wrath and starting a celestial battle royale.

It’s not the end of the world…but it’s going to be close.

Inflection point reached

The vocal acting was good as usual, storyline was fast paced. Clearly Monty and strong are at a crossroads in how much destruction they can get away with!

Brilliant as always.

One of the things I enjoy most about the Audible edition is that I can savor the story on a different level. Kevin T Collins does an amazing job with Simon and hearing, rather than reading allows for other nuances to shine.

love this series

when the description of the series is (essentially) "Deadpool and Gandalf walk into a bar, you can't go wrong. This is another fine example. And more PEACHES!!!

I like this series, I really do, but...

I like this series. I like the characters - the stories are generally fun and entertaining. But what the heck- did the author have to cut and paste the same explanatory text about the protagonist's car (and other things) in every book? The exact same paragraphs with the exact same words? There is other occasional pointless repetition in a couple of this series' scenes that grated too. But... Despite that. Still fun.
