About this listen

How is "No-life Gamers" as a party name?

The Academy City arc starts off with a bang! After leaving the service of House Granvelle, Allen enrolls in the Academy together with Cecil, as well as Krena and Dogora who have come all the way from Krena Village. As part of their new life together, they form a party to take on the many dungeons scattered throughout Academy City, keeping in mind their ultimate goal of defeating the Demon Lord. When Allen goes in search of a healer for their party, he encounters Keel, a boy his age with the Cleric Talent.

However, Keel comes across as guarded and reticent. Just what secret is he hiding, and how is it related to House Granvelle? At the same time, why is Helmios, the Hero of Giamut, at the Academy, and what does he want from Allen? And what's this about a martial arts tournament?

Growth and Development

It’s awesome to see consequences of past actions come full circle. Most OP MC stories neglect this, focussing solely on the strength building. Still love the story and narrator. No new audiobook adaptations mean I’m going to read the rest on digital now.

Better than the rest.

The way the arc built its way towards the tournament arc is great. I can’t say more because I don’t want to ruin it

Enter School on Hell Mode

I think this book might be Crack because I am addicted to it. Listened to all 3 books back to back. The performance was great and the story flowed smoothly. Think I will listen to it all again excited for the next book.

Not sure how to talk about it with out adding spoilers. so much happened in the time of the book.

Love it

The series is well paced and fascinating. I enjoy the emotion the narrator gives the characters, and his speech impediment adds an interesting and novel flair to listening. I hope they release more audiobooks in this series soon!

Good book, alright narrator

Enjoyed the book but, I listen on a headset. The characters yell a lot and the narrator does too. The shear difference between the narrator talking one moment and then yelling "High-yaa" or "Arrrrrgh" is headache inducing.
