Publisher's summary

Milan Brooks, a fashion buyer with a chip on her shoulder, has been through her share of cheating, disrespectful men. In most people’s books, she’d be rated a true dime, but she still hasn’t been lucky enough to find a loyal man. When a chance encounter with a childhood friend turns into a promising relationship, Milan thinks things might be different this time. Unfortunately, her younger sister steps in with plans of her own.

Shekia feels nothing but envy when she looks at her sister. She is just as beautiful as Milan, but lacks confidence. Milan wants to get closer to her sister, but with jealousy and rage brewing in her heart, Shekia pushes her away. She’s tired of playing in Milan’s shadow, and she has every intention of taking her place.

Sapphire has struggled with insecurities most of her life, but she thinks she’s finally figured it out. She’s working as a dancer at a local strip club to pay her way through college, and though she isn’t looking for a man, Mr. Right has fallen into her lap. She’s on cloud nine, until she realizes his true colors. Feeling trapped, she makes one bad decision after another, altering the course of her life.

In Hell on Heels, the lives of these three women collide, leading to devastating consequences. Reminiscent of Brittani’s debut novel, Daddy’s Little Girl, expect the unexpected, because nothing is what it seems.

Story line was okay but could be better

The story line was okay but I don’t like how the main character never really stood up for herself in any situation

Only for the weak minded!!

This was a sad disgusting tale of a woman with no self worth that never understood what love entails. She was conceited yet desperate. Confident yet depressed. She only saw value within herself when she was in a relationship.

Not my cup of tea

This was not the appropriate name for this book in my opinion. I was expecting to read about a woman or women who were blazing through things. This turned out to be all about super weak females doing treacherous things to each other, being doormats, and the moral of the story being, forgiveness. Booooo! I only gave it a 3 star because it wasn't awful, but I totally disliked everyone and this did not seem like any story to tell anyone as a warning, other than not to be as ignorant as ALL of the women in this book.

Weak minded woman

Once the sister died the story should have ended. The remaining story of a weak doormat ruined the outcome.

Talk about degrading

I found this books main character Milan a total waste of womanhood. She was only satisfied when she a man which led her to accept bad guys over and over again.

I had to look again to see if this book was written by a man. I wasn’t impressed with the story at all. No growth in any of the characters. A big disappointment.

A waste

If you want to read about stupidity, you will enjoy this book. I would never want to meet a woman like Mulan who needs a man to make her. Bad writer.

Unbelievable!

This author plagiarised her own book. Entire chapters and seniors were the exact same as her other book, Cover Girl. Talk about lazy writing! How could an author or publishing company even allow this to happen? This book was pointless. I'm super disappointed!
