Perfect for people pleasers
I've been listening to a lot of books on personal growth etc and have started to see a running theme. People pleasing. This was one of the things that gave me a lightbulb moment when thinking about why I never ask for a promotion or negotiate hard. I want to look like a good person. This book has helped me dispel this notion, make me realise that the imaginary demons are all in my head. No longer do I make a fuss and tell everyone except my boss I need more money I went directly to him, and it's obvious to say it wasn't half as bad as I imagined and have earned a new level of respect. The narration is nice and expressive.

Help Me to Negotiate and Get What I Want is an incredible audiobook that provides techniques and strategies to help you become a better communicator. Specifically, the audiobook is geared towards negotiations and making deals, or even improving on deals. I thought the chapter which covered deal making, and how to sweeten the deal, or make it even better was both well done and very important for anyone in business or even sales.

Everyday Negotiations Made Happen
As someone who always dreaded negotiating, I found this book useful in guiding me as to how to start difficult conversations centered on my own benefit. This book provides many ways in which you can prepare yourself when it comes to having conversation centered on a business deal, a raise or when needing to stand up for yourself. The author even goes as far as to helping you get acquainted with the different cultures when you are needing to make deals with business men of a nationality different to yours; this has to do with a mindset to an extent but also with understanding the other’s way of thinking. The benefits of you thinking as your future business partner are clearly explained. With this book you will also learn how to begin to make that mind set in this book. The author's approach is practical and easy to follow. If you’ve ever struggled with speaking up for yourself, let this book guide you as to how to express what is important to you. I will be using the book as a prep tool and reminder when needing to have difficult conversations with individuals I manage.
