About this listen

A centuries-long curse is no match for rom-com shenanigans when a medieval knight is brought to life in modern-day Chicago.

Forgotten by time and abandoned by hope, Sir Griffin de Beauford’s existence stretches out before him. Cursed by a ruthless enchanter to see, hear, and think, but never to move or speak, Griffin suffers the long, lonely centuries trapped in stone…until an unexpected kiss from a fair maiden breathes new life into his soul—and his body.

Emily Porter, a recently divorced conservator at the Art Institute of Chicago, is charged with the restoration of a statue of a medieval English knight. Breaking curses was not part of the job description. And yet, here he is, the man of her dreams come to life, resplendent in shining armor as he joyously barrels into priceless antiquities...and goes on to dismantle her defenses, wreak havoc on her senses, and tempt her to believe once more in happy-ever-afters.

But the modern age tries Griffin’s patience and pride, and Emily is a prime suspect in the investigation of the missing sculpture. In a complicated world, can they find their way to a fairy-tale ending?

"This wonderfully adorable romcom will have you giggling and kicking your feet. Griffin certainly won my heart! Sparkling with cute fun and lovely, sweet romance, Her Knight at the Museum is a delightful read, simply perfect for fans of Enchanted and Kate and Leopold."—International bestselling author India Holton

“Her Knight at the Museum was a hilariously salacious romp full of forced proximity goodness that had me flying through the pages faster than a jousting knight. I couldn’t put it down!”—USA Today bestselling author Lana Ferguson

“If readers appreciate a slight fantasy twist, they’ll be rewarded with a frothy contemporary romance…It will especially appeal to readers who enjoy a touch of Marvel’s Thor in their romantic heroes.”—Library Journal

Un-Put-Down-Able

Lonely antiquities curator is enthralled by her latest project, restoring a priceless Medieval statue of a knight in full armor, the museum’s most recent acquisition. Right away, things go awry when she thinks she can hear the statues thoughts. Is she losing her mind or is there really a man trapped inside the statue? Bryn Donovan’s Her Knight at the Museum is a perfect marriage of rom com and historical romance with a dash if time travel. This is the perfect novel for lovers of the movie Kate & Leopold. It’s fast paced, full of emotion, and amply seasoned with spice. In other words, this is one of those un-put-down-ables so carve out a day to spend with Emily and Griffin in Her Knight at the Museum. Oh and... I listened to the audio version. The narrator is stellar.
