About this listen

The world ended four years ago when the zombie virus killed billions. Now, with a vaccine in place, humanity can begin again. Or can it?

The Morningstar Strain created two different, equally deadly forms of zombie: the raging, fast sprinters and the relentless, undead shamblers. The sprinters have all but disappeared; the evil humans dedicated to death and chaos have been defeated.

But the worse is yet to come. A new breed of the undead is rising.

A mutant version of the Morningstar Strain has appeared and birthed a sprinter who can think - and can control the billions of shamblers still plaguing the world. It's time for a whole new breed of human hero to rise: men and women who have survived the end of the world and are ready to fight to the death to reinvent a better world...one finally free of the Morningstar Strain.

The final battle is just beginning. But is it the beginning of the end?

Good end. If it’s really the end. Love the stalkers. Wish there was more of a story for them

this was a struggle to finish iv listened to all the books as they were a gift. let me start by saying the narrator did an amazing job . Now if you know nothing about military tactics, baring, dacorm, anything really about the military. you might like these books. if you can suspend belief that characters this completely moronic, and just not intelligent both villains and heroes could possibly survive the apocalypse. you might like this book. from top to bottom just incompetent characters. this coming from a crayon eating grunt. I do not recommend, narrator is cool though.

terrible

Some of the characters, even though they were important to the story, were underdeveloped. I still don’t know much about them. It was almost like they just appeared out of nowhere without any history or anything.
It may just be that I was drawn into the series by the writing style of Z. A. Recht and, even though the authors of this book are good writer’s, they just don’t do it for me. I also was not very fond of the ending. The storyline itself was a stretch, but the ending was too quick, too clean, and very predictable.
I ‘m kind of disappointed…🙁

Not too Sure I Like This One…
