Publisher's summary

Witt's End is in trouble. The small town of artists is at risk of disappearing from the map if Serenity Makepeace can't expand her small grocery store into a mail order enterprise to sell her neighbors' handcrafted goods. High-priced start-up advisor Caleb Ventress was intrigued by Serenity's impassioned letter. A small town grocer wasn't high profile enough for him, but her request earned her a meeting. And Calebs' attraction to her earned her a few more. But when someone tries to blackmail Serenity, her future, and possibly even her life, is at risk.

Unique and artsy.

I love the artistic characters in this story. From the talents, to the personalities. The town is the perfect example of how our differences should make us stronger together. Not keep us apart. I prefer more romance books not ending with the heroine pregnant or planning to be, but I didn’t right the book. It was a good read. 😊 I highly recommend it.

Good story Like Love scene's Amy McFadden Is Go

The story line was very good. I could understand the Narrater. Though it was funny about the Nude pictures. But am glad they stock together.

FANTASTIC!

I loved this book. I love a.ll JAM books for that matter. I truly enjoyed the way that this book was read aloud. That is so much more difficult than it seems but it was really well done and went well with the book. I had already read the book and loved it so I doubly enjoyed listening to it.

Bits and pieces

I loved this book. This is the first book in a long time that I didn't want to
end . Jayne Ann Krentz did a wonderful job of writing. I have read or
Listen to all of her books_Amanda Quick, and Jayne Castle.Don't know how
this was missed.
All of the characters were treated with respect and care even though most
were a little different as we all are. They were all kind and loving people
except the villains. The h/h were people you would want to meet and know.
Amy McFadden did a very good narration

Bits and Pieces

I really enjoyed listening to this book. It is a very nicely written book about the “bits and pieces” of the difference in people. The storyline was well written. I enjoy the majority of JAK’s books.

What a waste! Extremely poor narration...

First let me say that I absolutely LOVE this story. I own in both in print and ebook versions. I was hoping to add this version to my stockpile. I've been a little disappointed by the narration in a few of the recent JAK audiobook offerings (ex Guinevere Jones series) but I took a risk. This is a story with very rich characters and I could tell from the sample and the first 30 mins that the narrator wasn't going to cut it. Her voice had potential but the delivery was so FLAT that I couldn't listen any longer. It is literally one step above voice read text. I'm so disappointed that this one didnt work out.

Some quirky going on

Enjoyable story with a theme I like “like it or not, we’ve got bits and pieces of other people stuck to us”. We are affected by all the people who raise us and we spend time with.
I also enjoyed Serenity and Caleb individually and as a couple.
Not one of Krentz’s top tier, but yes to the top half of her catalogue.
McFadden did an ok job with narration.

I enjoyed the book. It had some nice plot twists and enough characters to keep you wondering. it had a fairly decent end.

Another fun one from JAK

Quirky characters, an implausible plot, add engaging and humorous repartee laced with mystery and romance with a talented reader...just do it!
