The three stories are very enjoyable but the first and last stories should have further written to follow up on the loose ends.

Hannah Howell's books never disappoint nor did this one! Michele Sinclair's was ok and worth a listen. Jackie Ivie's was a little difficult as the MFC was not very likable and by the end the MMC who starts as fairly strong and likable ends up coming across as weak. At no point in history was a 21 year old woman considered a spinater. However even if the age was raised to 25 the MFC is so unlikeable it doesn't matter. I'll skip this most definitely one when I reread this book. If you decide to skip after Hannah Howell's, skip to chapter 27 for Michele Sinclair's

I expected the second two stories to have more substance to them like some of the other multi-story books of this series. Instead, they left too many questions unanswered. The hero in the second story was also disappointing as the author gave him a rather “pouty” character. He was always moping and worried about himself, which cast him as awkward and unattractive, in my opinion.

I’ve really enjoyed all the stories in this series till this book. Hannah Howell’s story was another great addition to the series but the other 2 didn’t fit into the Mcnaughton world. I didn’t really like them even as separate stories.
