Publisher's summary

I thought divine omegas were a myth...until I met him.

Dragons are on the verge of extinction and if we don’t find the divine omegas we’re doomed. In 300 years I’ve never come across one. Until I meet...him.

Haiden is sweet and a little broken, and his fragile smiles make me yearn to claim him as my own. I never thought I’d find a divine omega in a tiny West Virginia town, but not only is Haiden an omega, he’s my destined mate.

Fate has led me to the young man, but the emotions he awakens in me blaze a fire in my heart and I cannot let him go. But once news of his existence breaks, I won’t be the only one trying to claim Haiden. And when danger comes to our door, I’ll do whatever it takes to keep him safe.

Good, but expected.

Could have had more depth. Tortured heroine could have gone deeper, he was so well prepped for revelation.

Dragons indeed...

The concept of dragons was intriguing, which lured me to this story. I really enjoyed the story. The writing of Jill Haven provided a historical perspective of the dragon and their klans and how they have survived in the modern world. The Divine Omega was an interesting twist. I rather enjoyed the character Haiden and how he developed throughout the story. Carlisle was equally interesting. One felt the chemistry between the two protagonists; which speaks to Haven's writing and narrator Gabriel Amari's ability to invoke life into the characters. P.S. I love Jade!

Narration Fabulous!

I read the book and thought it was good. It had dragons and mystery, and even violence. One of the leads was a female, I was surprised how well the narrator was able to sound different with each character. The author should be proud.

elder dragon

What a fight Carlisle had to put up for his mate/heart's desire! I thought Carlisle and Haiden were a great fit once they got to know one another and secrets were shared. Seth is such a little pi$$er!!! omg! Looking forward to more. The narrator did a great job. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

Interesting Dragon World

Ok so this is a good start into this Dragon world that has an interesting little twist. The narration is OK but some of the voices were a little much at times and it was a little wooden here and there. Overall it's a good listen.

Amazing!! :D

Wow, I'm just blown away. Jill Haven picked a phenomenal narrator, this is probably the best audiobook I've listened to all year. Unique voices, gripping emotions, edge-of-your-seat action - the story came alive. I wish all my audiobook experiences were this good. The story was great too, but if I could nominate Gabriel for something, I would. Needless to say I'll be waiting for the next installments. :)

still very much entertaining

3.5 to 4 Blue Roses
3.5 Blue Flames

Narrator Gabriel Amari surprised the me. Let’s just say, I woke up and smell the fucking roses. I must admit I judged him much too early. Who can blame me, I guess we are all a little judgy and edgy lately. He truly does a decent job switching from a deeper older dragon voice to a more lighter twinky voice. Ultimately, he did not fail to deliver a truly enjoyable performance of this MPREG paranormal dragon romance. His narration matched the intense energy of the fight to save his mate and a few other omegas from the baddies; dragons who tried to abduct them for the sole purpose to breed them. – Naughty, dragons!

This audiobook is book one of a new series by Jill Haven; The Divine Dragons. I confused it with the Guardian Dragons By: Aiden Bates and Jill Haven. Idiot that I am, threw all my dolls out of the pram, thinking they changed the narrator mid – series. ( Which usually gives me some kind of twitching muscle) (Not the good kind either)

The plot was a little predictable, but still very much entertaining. If you like dragon paranormal romances, then this audiobook is good to use as a filler.

Happy Listening

promising start to a news series

Would I listen to it again: yes
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes

Story comment: easy read, good pace, well developed characters and an interesting story - this series has great potential that I hope continues in future instalments.

Narrator comment: I enjoyed Gabriel Amari's narration and think he's done a good job narrating His Elder Dragon. He has good rhythm and inflections that bring life to the story, there were times the narration was a little flat, but it isn't anything that would stop me listening to it again.
