This was the PERFECT ending to this AMAZING series!!

I knew that once Cody fell in love he would be a totally devoted, protective, loving boyfriend and I was so right!! The way he was with his Mom and Sisters I knew what kind of man he truly was.

Hailey is probably my favorite FMC of the Time River Series. She is so strong, a survivor, and so sweet and loving. She deserved to end up with Cody, deserved his devotion!!

The shocking surprise that cut deep had me bleeding out for Hailey. I’m just so glad she had Cody when it all came out.

I can’t get enough of Jackson’s romance stories, with suspense and great alpha heroes. I can’t recommend her enough if you like romance that is passionate and spicy, and suspense with the hunky alpha hero!!

The narration was SUPERB!!

Another masterpiece from AL Jackson. I’ve been debating for a few days on whether this is my favorite or Claim Me Forever. But I honestly can’t pick when they are so good. Why isn’t everyone raving about how amazing these small town suspense stories are!

Hailey and her 4 yo daughter left her husband and came to Time River to live with her grandmother. Her relationship with Lolly was one of the best parts of the story. It always made me smile. Cody sees Hailey when she is moving in and remembers her from years ago. You find out more about their history together a little at a time throughout the story. Cody & Hailey had chemistry years ago but a tragedy separated them but now years later they still have that same chemistry between them. I loved Cody and Hailey together, and also with Maddie. The way that Cody loved Maddie was so sweet. Cody had so much dirty talking cowboy in him and I love when he went into full blown protector mode.

There is so much love within this story between not just our MCs but it is also filled with heart pounding suspense. There were a lot of secrets revealed and many were jaw dropping shocking! This was one of those endings that had me in AL Jackson’s DMs screaming!

The audiobook is absolutely beautifully done by Stephen and Erin. The way they captured the small town feels, the love between everyone, and the soul crushing pain felt. Excellent performance!

⭐️ 3.5 ⭐️ This was one of my preferred books in this series. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the main characters. The FMC's little girl was so dang precious too!

I honestly don't know if I could pick a favorite in this series, I thought it couldn't get better than the last book, and yet, I was wrong. I listened to the ALC of this book and I have to say Erin Mallon and Stephen Dexter did such a phenomenal job narrating this book. Cody has a nice gruff voice and I freaking loved it!! The chemistry between Cody and Hailey was off the charts hot. And the way this man protected and loved Hailey and her daughter was so swoonworthy, I just melted at his moments with her little girl. People say all the time they would take a bullet for the ones they care about but do they really mean it? Cody does.

This entire series is just too good to pass by. There's romance, comedy, mystery, suspense, angst and so so much more. How could you not fall in love with this series and everyone in it?!
If you haven't read them, do it now.

I’m still swooning so hard over Cody and I don’t see that ending anytime soon. “Hold Me Until Morning” is a thrilling, steamy and romantic single Mom romance that is the perfect addition to the “Time River” series.

It’s been years since Hailey Wagner had been back home and after leaving her husband, this is where she feels safe to raise her daughter, Maddie, with the help of her beloved grandma. And during her first night there during a rainstorm, she finds out she’s neighbors with the boy who broke her heart. Cody is still a charmer all these years later and now that Hailey is back in town, it’s starting to look like fate stepped in. But Hailey’s soon to be ex is determined to make Hailey crawl back to him and Cody being the protector he is, offers to sleep on her couch to keep the girls safe. But the feelings they both had all those years ago start to simmer to the top.

Cody and Hailey stole my heart from the beginning and haven’t let go. Hailey is a great mom, smart, caring and I loved how she was working regaining her independence. She had suffered some loss but was finding herself back again with moving back home and working with horses again. Cody has all the confident swagger I love and it oozes off him in the best possible way. He loves his Mom and sisters without reservation and I loved how close they were. The banter between Hailey and Cody was flirty and chemistry filled. I couldn’t stop listening because I wanted these two to admit their feelings for each other badly. And once they did, it was a steamy delight. Cody’s nickname for Maddie was so adorable and I loved how these two bonded. Hailey’s grandma was a hoot and had me laughing so much. The plot twist thrown in had me gasping and on the edge of my seat as I listened. The ending was so sweet and was the perfect way to wrap up their HEA.

Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon were perfect as Cody and Hailey. I loved Stephen’s gruff yet playful narration as Cody and could listen to him all day. Erin was wonderful, per the norm. Her kind and caring voice was the perfect choice for Hailey and she brought her alive perfectly.

Hailey is one amazing woman and mother. Cody is a strong independent man. Lolly is a fun loving grandma who wants the best for her granddaughter. Love the past they had. Did not see any of the twists coming. Amazing read.

It is great to be back in Time River for another incredible novel and A.L. Jackson has outdone herself with this story, an impressive romantic suspense with some mind blowing twists that you never see coming. This multilayered story captivated my attention from start to end, and as always, the writing, plot and world building are phenomenal, as are the character growth and development. The last person Cody Cooper ever expected to move into the neighboring house was Hailey Wagner, the two have history, a complex history and she was not exactly happy to see him, despite the years that have passed. She returned to Time River after leaving her husband, who was not a good person, with their daughter, Madison, and has her grandmother, Lolly, living with them. When Cody was young, his desperation led him to make terrible decisions and down the wrong road, and why Hailey’s father warned him away from his daughter. He has since changed direction, built up his own business and even won a bid for a job worth millions. One that brings him back to where it all started for him and Hailey, and not all memories are good. Hailey had crushed on Cody back in the day, and so did her friend Brooke, so that made him off limits, but that did not stop her feelings towards him. Cody was a player and did not allow anyone to get close to him, so he was more of a love-them and leave-them type of guy and still is, or so he thought. When Hailey’s soon to be ex-husband pays an unwanted visit, Cody goes into protective mode and wow, that was something to see. Clearly, these two had unresolved feelings for each other, and the chemistry between them was smoking hot. I loved how everything played out in this book, including the flashbacks to the past to give a glimpse of events that explain why things are the way they are in the current day. Keeping it vague to avoid spoiler, but I also love how pieces of the puzzle all fall together and who came through in the end to make it all right, despite it breaking my heart. There is never a dull moment in this book, and the story has a perfect balance drama, some charming moments to lighten up the darker ones, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Shout out to the scene stealer, Madison, Cody’s little button and he was amazing with her. You got to love A.L. Jackson’s children, not only adorable, but their dialogue is some of the best. Thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon were all around perfection, from their character voices to their performance. Their portrayal of each character was spot on, nailing both lead roles while grasping every aspect of their personality, humanizing them with their emotions, and having you feel each one. They were equally amazing performing the roles of the secondary characters, too, children included. These two are entertaining storytellers and their performance elevates this already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another wonderful listen.

I absolutely LOVED this book! This is my second A.L. Jackson book and I can't wait to read through her backlist. Hailey and Cody's romance was so heartwarming and powerful.

Cody has sworn off love, but man does this sexy cowboy fall HARD and I loved every moment of it.

The twists and turns were unexpected and kept me on the edge of my seat! There is one particular scene in this book that had tears running down my face!!

Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon did a fabulous job narrating these characters. Stephen is becoming one of my favorites and he was the best choice for Cody. He had a cockiness mixed with alphaness that really shown bright in this one. Erin, as always, did a great job bringing the vulnerability to life for Hailey.

My heart! This series of Time River is amazing each book better than the one before. This is book 4 and I love every single one of them. This time Cody and Hailey, you are going to fall in love with both of them in chapter 1 and obviously with Madison and Lolly. I love grandma Lolly so much. They truly tried to not fall, and give in the temptation and attraction but the chemistry is so good to ignore. And they fall and it was perfection. The twist and turns, the suspense was so good! I couldn’t stop listening/reading. The narrators performance was on point. Love their voices and personification of the characters. Definitely a 5 stars reading.
