About this listen

In this follow up to Journeys, Sarah finds her way through life after learning the truth about her parents' past. When a neighbour's house burns down, she sees her opportunity to put her passion to good use, building homes for those in need. Old characters and new characters come together to make an even larger non-traditional family in this tale of overcoming hardships.

Homes is book two in Robyn Harling's Journeys Series. It continues to share the lives of Sarah and her adoptive father, Colt. They build a family of unique people who face life's difficulties together. This book is a prime example of how family does not need to be related by blood. I listened to the audio and enjoyed the narration.

A great example of, "Home is where the heart is."

This was what I'd call a chummy tale... at if you were sitting around a bonfire or relaxing on a front porch swing and eavesdropping on someone's conversation. It isn't tedious or boring... just easy to listen to. I found it to be a great way to spend a lazy
afternoon.

The performance... it took a bit for me to get adjusted to the way she portrayed a couple of characters.
