Good Follow Up to "Duty Honor Planet"

I enjoyed this book, though not quite as much as the first installment of the series. It is still well worth your time and investment. I certainly recommend this second book in the series.

Great performance

Book well written, although slightly repetitive with Antonov always coming back. Great characters, great descriptive writing, really holds your interest. The performance is really really good, one of the best I've heard.
Thank you

Action Packed, Layered Espionage

Jason, Shannon, Jock, Vinny, etc are all back in the 2nd book. It is approximately 6 years later. Former senator O’Keefe is now president. His daughter is a senator and has a daughter with the president’s advisor Glenn. Odd things seem to start happening. The president, Jason and Shannon all believe that it could be General Antonov. A colony is destroyed and brass casings are found. Is it the return of the protectorate or is it someone trying to make it look like the protectorate? Jason and other fly out to investigate.

Shannon and the rest of the team stay back. Was the attack a diversion? General Antonov is always three steps ahead. He is a brilliant psychopath who is bent on taking over ‘his’ planet, Earth. The team investigates a coup within the Colonial Guard or CG to see if there is any tie to the colony attack.

Without giving anything away, I will say that there are so many twists and turns, that no matter when you think you have it figured out, there is another layer of deception and planning. Some of the characters from the first book, do not survive this one and some turn traitor. If you enjoyed the first one, you will definitely enjoy this one.

Ryan Burke, once again did a great job with the characters and narration.

Outstanding in every respect great series move on

This is the second story of series and as the first it was exciting from the moment the introduction
The hero has grown and the supporting character are somewhat better the first book. The narration is consistent and Ryan Burke light growing brighter. Great narrator
and a excellent narration.

Rick Partlow is amazing!

The first book in this series is not what attracted me to it. It was the other amazeballs books he has written. This series is different from, but just as good as, Drop Troopers. I love it when the second book is just as good as the first. This is one of those times. The narrator does not add or detract from the story.
