The plan is for Carilyn to house sit for her friend in the small town of Prescott ...she didn’t expect her car to be torched by an arsonist and she certainly didn’t expect to become his next obsession. Luckily, there’s a hot firefighter who has shown an interest. Cody McBride is an all around good guy...did I mention that he’s hot? :) He quickly falls for his friend’s house sitter...and his protective instincts kick in when she becomes the target of a deadly arsonist. Can Cody keep Carilyn safe while he searches for the arsonist? Will there be an HEA since Carilyn is scheduled to return home?
Great story with equal parts romance and suspense. Narrator is perfect for this story! Love this series!

Obviously the women are too special that even the bad guys try n get them. I loved this SERIES and even had my husband listening with me that he even tells me to shush. Got free codes from list of audio promos for the COVID-19 social distancing link thru email. So only right to review for loads of audios that most of us usually can't afford "so HUGE thsnx for that."

This is a wonderful love story. Carilyn went to house set for a friend. She met Cody, a hot firefighter/cowboy when she stopped in town. An arsonist was loose in the area and he had murdered several women. He had his eye on Carilyn. Then things got heated up more ways than one.
David Quimby does a super job narrating it. I love to hear his voice doing the characters.

Who doesn't like a little mystery with their romance? Well that is what you're getting in this one.

On Carilyn first day in Prescott she not only met a handsome firefighter, she caught the eye of a serial arsonist, who is targeting women and she is the next target.

Although this story flowed well it feels like there is something missing. The ending wasn't what I expected, Is there a continuation to this story?

Again the narration is too old for these characters.

This is probably my least favorite. It all felt like it happened in less than a week it just didn’t do it for me.

Hey that is ok not all books are going to be for everyone right. Still glad I listened and I enjoyed the series overall even if I didn’t really enjoy the narration.
