A somewhat different style from the rest of startup books, but coming from a man who wears a bitcoin tie - it’s exactly what you expect. Some great insights and I am certainly tempted to give Draper University a go.

I loved this book. It is a rich source of advice that can help entrepreneurs avoid painful mistakes. This book is for all types and stages of startups. This book goes from choosing the right market, to developing the idea, to making it successful, and how to get the right funding and scale. Tim shares his life long experience investing in startups and has helped as many as 35 startups to become unicorns. Tim challenges the status quo and shows that you can be anyone and build anything. He talks about bitcoin, viral marketing, and network effects. I cannot articulate how rich this book is – you must read it to find out for yourself.

the book is philosophical, but the narrating is not good. There were many mant times that I had to listen over and over again to understand which word the narrator said because she doesnt pronounce them clearly. many times I didn't understand and just went ahead. this makes listening not fun since not everything is understood, even though the author is very coherent and intelligent.

this book tells the truth about Entrepreneurship...a must read for seasoned and startup leaders everywhere.

Skip to the last few chapters for what you're looking for, or get a more concise alternative.

Don't get me wrong, there IS useful advice in there, but it comes after long stories that don't amount to much, and a very long chapter about the author's bucket list that I skipped after it was clear it was not leading anywhere.

This book is good to learn about Tim Draper who is an interesting guy who has lived a great life. Five stars for this because it is fun:

You will learn some things about entrepreneurship, but for this part there are better books (Zero to One, Disciplined Entrepreneurship, The Lean Start Up, Four Stages to Epiphany, The Start Up Owner's Manual, Running Lean, Hooked, etc). Three stars for this.
