Story
Doctoral student Holland Reeves may have aced every class she's ever taken, but when it comes to life outside her lab, she's beginning to realize she doesn't have one. In fact, she has more meaningful relationships with test tubes and pipettes than with people. Wishing to change that, she reluctantly agrees to attend an old friend's wedding. The only problem is, it means she has to return to Paradise. The small coastal town that once upon a time lived up to its name, that was, until he—Porter Clairborne—left her without even saying goodbye.

Story
A word of advice? Never fall in love with an Englishman in New York. If you do, chances are that he’ll captivate your soul and never let you go. Take me, for instance. For the last thirteen years, I’ve heard “So This Is Love” on repeat every time I think of Simon Harrison. If this is love, it kind of sucks. Especially given that Simon only ever saw me as his friend before proceeding to marry my supposed best friend.

So . . . I signed up for something. Not a gym or Costco membership, which probably would have been wiser. Oh no, I signed up for a social experiment. You heard me right. I, Lanie Davenport, am going to be the subject of a scientific study. Do I know what this study is for? Not exactly. But I know it means I have to live with a stranger for twelve weeks and do a video diary once a week, answering the researchers’ questions.

I, Melanie Dixon, can sum my life up in one simple phrase—I didn't see that coming. Let's just say, I never thought I would find myself divorced, pregnant, and living back with my parents in Amber Bay. If that isn't fun enough, my old boyfriend, Declan Shaw, has also just moved back to town after a recent job promotion. The boy from next door is all grown up and wow, has time done his body good. But I've decided that the only cute and cuddly thing I need in my life is currently occupying my womb.

Kate Fletcher is my kryptonite. She's also my best friend. Former best friend? I'm not sure what you call it when we grew up attached at the hip and then she left Silver Creek (and me) to travel the world. The important thing is: Kate is back. (Temporarily.) And I'm still in love with her. (Permanently.) But something is different now. The attraction doesn't seem one-sided. I don't think I'm imagining the heat in Kate's eyes or the chemistry crackling between us.

All I want for Christmas this year is to be able to spend more time with my son and to finally move us out of our cramped apartment. I have the perfect plan to make my holiday dreams come true. All I have to do is convince my boss I'm the right person for the manager position that's available at the resort I work for. It finally seems like Santa is going to grant my wish, until one Jace Petersen, the owner of a national chain of sporting goods stores, walks into my life. More like literally falls on me. Very few in Aspen Lake expected that I, Calista Monroe, their most notorious wild child, would ever amount to anything besides being a model prisoner. So, imagine their surprise when I returned as the hospital’s newest ER doctor. Believe me, no one is more surprised than I am. I had vowed to never return, even if it was the last safe haven during the zombie apocalypse. But when my niece Quinn begged me to come home, I couldn’t say no. My plan is to stay out of trouble this time, and, above all, avoid Quinn’s uncle Tristan—the man I love to hate and the reason I left Aspen Lake.

After graduation, I thought I’d be off to grad school, doing research on my favorite poet. Instead, I’m renovating my late grandmother’s home and posting about the process on Instagram. Talk about a detour… But here I am. Turning Gran’s beach house into a bed and breakfast; a process that would be a lot easier if I didn’t have to deal with the grumpy lawyer living next door. It doesn’t help that the night Jake and I met, I got a little tipsy, and he had to carry me back to my hotel.

The bad boy and the golden girl have traded places….I’m back in Harvest Hollow after ten years to prove a point and to even a few scores. I’ve opened a new bar, and anyone expecting the old sweet and shy Jolie McGraw to be running it is in for a shock. I’m not the only one who’s changed: when the sheriff comes to tell me I’m the prime suspect in the most ridiculous crime in town history, it’s none other than Lucas Cole, the former star of my teenage stress dreams, wearing the badge.

Publisher's summary
My parents warned me to never date a coworker, but did I listen? Oh, no. I thought Jackson Montgomery and I had a forever kind of thing going. We even have the cutest couple's name, PB & J, short for Presley Benson and Jackson. I guess he didn't think it was all that cute because he just broke up with me. To make matters worse, he's the newly appointed vice principal for the school where I teach drama, which makes him my boss. That probably means he won't want to make out in the prop room anymore.
Fortunately, my best friend found a plan on the internet for how to get over your ex. It seems legit. All I have to do is stay away from him for ninety-days. That's a tough one, seeing as we work together, but I'm willing to do anything to make this pain go away. There's just one problem. Jackson has decided he wants me back. So, what's a girl to do? Stick with the plan, of course.
USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Peel presents a deliciously amusing workplace romance.

Story
What would happen if a shy introvert lived like a gregarious extrovert for one year? If she knowingly and willingly put herself in perilous social situations that she’d normally avoid at all costs? Writer Jessica Pan intends to find out. With the help of various extrovert mentors, Jessica sets up a series of personal challenges (talk to strangers, perform stand-up comedy, host a dinner party, travel alone, make friends on the road, and much, much worse) to explore whether living like an extrovert can teach her lessons that might improve the quality of her life.

Story
Hilarious, fascinating, and a roller coaster of dizzying, historical what-ifs, Napoleon's Hemorrhoids is a potpourri for serious historians and casual history buffs. In one of Phil Mason's many revelations, you'll learn that Communist jets were two minutes away from opening fire on American planes during the Cuban missile crisis, when they had to turn back as they were running out of fuel. You'll discover that before the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon's painful hemorrhoids prevented him from mounting his horse to survey the battlefield.

Myrna, Leonie, and Chrissy meet every Thursday to sample fine cheeses, to reminisce about their former lives as professors, and lately, to muse about murder. Decades ago, a vicious cabal of male poets contrived—quite publicly and successfully—to undermine the writing career, confidence, and health of their dear friend Fern. Now, after Fern has taken a turn for the worse, her three old friends decide that it’s finally time to strike back—in secret, of course, since Fern is far too gentle to approve of a vendetta.

Every person has that one thing they’re known for, and it doesn’t matter what you do, that one thing—whether good or bad—follows you around like a bloodhound for the rest of your life. Tragically for me, it’s a story I wrote when I was 15, based on a real person, Reece Cavanaugh. And guess what? He grew up to be a pirate—okay, lawyer. Same thing. To make matters worse, the man is representing my ex-fiancé. But the more I get to know Reece—the real version, not the imaginary one who ravishes me—I can’t help but wish we could roll around in the sand together.

Swoony Voices, YES Please!
I loved this audiobook. The voices made the story come to life and play right before your eyes practically. I loved the expressions and the way the narrator's voice gave each character their personality, differentiating the rest of the characters from each other. This story is sweet, cute, loving, and will leave anyone wishing they had a Mr. Montgomery in their life.

Such A Lovely Story
I LOVED this story. Besides the fact that Jennifer Peel is an auto buy for me, I have read the story before. But in kindle format. Listening to it gave such a great experience. The narrator was fantastic. She brought emotion into the characters and made you feel as though you were watching the story play out.
After being dumped by the supposed love of her life, Presley is desperate to get over Jackson. Especially because they see each other every day at work. Her BFF who is obsessed with online articles finds one that helps you get over your ex in 90 days. With no other options, she follows the advice and chaos ensues. Botched dates, meddling coworkers and family members, and an ex who is absolutely going to fix the mistake he made by walking away.
Jackson and Presley are just delightful. She didn’t give him an out and immediately run back. She had to come into her own. She had to come to terms with why he left and if she could allow that kind of potential hurt back in. This story is a love story about choosing the one you love and loving the one you choose. Just loved it!!

Perfectly Swoonworthy!!
I absolutely love this one! The narrator did an awesome job bringing the beloved characters PB & J to life! Presley is a fun character with a lot of sass and Jackson is truly swoonworthy once he figures it all out! PB and J's chemistry is through the roof! This story is a fun rollercoaster ride that will make you laugh, cry, yell, swoon, and smile! The plot line of the story is just so fun and will truly pull you in. You won't want to stop listening or reading. I didn't want the book to end! I highly recommend this one for sure! Check out all of Jennifer's audibles and books, you won't be sorry!

You can’t go wrong with a Jennifer Peel book
While doing a reread through audiobook of this wonderful story I looked back and realized that I hadn’t done a review on here. I must say you can’t go wrong with a book by Jennifer Peel. Presley Benson is dealing with a broken heart and she decides to try and get over her ex-boyfriend Jackson Montgomery by using a ninety day plan she finds in an article. Someone please tell these plans never work the way you want. Especially when your turns out to be your boss. With Jackson always around it makes it hard for Presley to continue ninety day plan. But that doesn’t stop her from trying. My heart ached for Presley so much. Even though My heart was broken for Presley the story had lots of fun and heartfelt moments. I couldn’t put it down and finished within a couple of days. A little secret the story does end with a HEA. And I just loved the narrator she is one of my favorites. ❤️
