Publisher's summary

Aria Abbott has never had a home. Drifting through the foster system for most of her life, she finally finds herself in a situation so unbearable that she has no choice but to run away. Sleeping on the streets pushes Aria beyond any suffering she has felt before; the only thing worse than seeing no escape is the knowledge that no one in the world cares enough to try and find her.

Enter Taylor, a homeless young man with a charismatic smile and a dream of fame, fortune, and the sunshine of LA. Swept up in his energy, Aria and Taylor board a greyhound bus and never look back.

In this bright new world, Aria will discover a whole community of people living in the shadows, in the margins of society. As Taylor follows his dreams, Aria follows her heart. But she will discover that it isn't always clear who you can trust, that strangers can be kind, or treacherous, or sometimes as familiar as your own reflection, if you're willing to look hard enough.

Loved It!

I homeschool my child and we use what’s called, living books, instead of text books. It has truth written in a novel form. That is what I’d call this book. A living book teaching universal truths, ancestral traumas, and the genuine perspectives of collective consciousness. It is written beautifully and kept me entertained the whole time!

I enjoyed it.

I only read science fiction and horrific end of the world books. But being a fan of Teal Swan, i gave this a try. The narration is great. The character development was great. The first 80% of it is great. But I found the last 20% a bit unrealistic even though I still enjoyed it.

Absolutely amazing!!!

Along with diving so deep into the issues and perspectives of the homeless in America, Teal touches on so many aspects of society and of humanity. From Childhood trauma, addiction, abuse, loneliness, hoarding, racisms, prejudice, greed, and so much more, this book is a deep dive in to a vast majority of shadows in collective consciousness. Pay attention to the way these characters begin to integrate these shadows and understand deep empathy. An absolute must read!

I love this book

This is the fourth time I have listened to this audible book by Teal Swan! I love all of Teal's books and I listen to them a lot!!

In this book about the homeless, Teal uses such amazing information to get our attention and help us each understand that this difficult thing could happen to any of us and might be in any one of our futures! Beautifully written, an amazing reader.... This book should be read by all of us. I will read it again soon! Thank you Teal Swan... You are my hero!

Very Slowwwww. I really tried to give it a chance

There was entirely too much "muk". It was very slow at times, but seemed to have entirely too much of nothing to wrap your head around the story...in my opinion.
