Publisher's summary

She fled in the dead of night,

Where will she run?

No stone left unturned,

Who will feel my wrath?

A few steps behind her every move,

How many more will suffer?

Her punishment will be severe,

When will she be aware?

With each swing of her scythe,

Why does it make me writhe?

When Selene left us in pursuit of her sister, she had no idea what she let loose.

Now I hunt her day and night, collecting her secrets in plain sight.

She doesn’t have long until her time runs out, it’s her fault the four of us have feelings we can’t ignore.

If she finds out we’ve f--ked with her plans, we might just find ourselves dead with her scythe on our foreheads.

It reminded me another book

The performance was good but the plot was okay, I guess
It really remind me of other books that I've already listed too so I hoped for something new, that didn't happen
I give this and the novel short books 3 ⭐

These guys won me over! The twists in this story 😱

So I went right into the next book after devouring the novella and this one kept the intensity up but we had to deal with Selene being away from the guys (well most of them 😈 muahaha). I thought it was funny how one was messing with her and she didn’t even realize. I don’t condone what he did (remember this is fiction haha) but the OTT and ridiculousness made me giggle because of how possessive this one was being, after how he acted in the novella. It gave me a better sense of him and I enjoyed it actually 🤣 Like you thought Santos was the craziest of the bunch......NOPE haha.

I felt for Selene in this one, she had a lot of things thrown at her and she had to keep adapting or be left behind or others would be hurt. I also wasnt expecting the twist once the guys found her (the double whammy!) but these authors did an incredible job with those and went for the shock factor and it worked. I was conflicted about Selene’s feelings for her “friend” and how they connected on a physical level so well but they won’t end up being together. I am not against that type of romance (I don’t seek it out but if its in books I read and done well I enjoy it) and this was done really well so I was kinda sad that character didnt get added to the group haha. But these guys won’t share so I totally get it!! I am saddened that these stories could be real, with the skin trade still occurring and it breaks my heart. The authors did a good job with the touchy subjects and I felt like making such an empowering female characters helps show people they can overcome tragedies in their lives (I mean I hope not being a reaper like Selene haha but you know what I mean!). I think I liked book 1 (novella) more but this was still a solid part of the story and I jumped right into the final book!

Narration was just as good in this one as it was in the novella. I think seeing the guys loose it without her was the best performances (and the big twists towards the end!) Narration would definitely still be 4.5 stars for me. I felt her joy when she was with her friend and the steam was off the charts. I felt the heartache from the guys. The anger from her stalker. The sliminess and vile male characters were portrayed so well.

These unhinged characters are growing on me, I can’t help but fall for them even more. And more M/M in this one, so yummy! And Selene not having boundaries and what she did to Xander make me laugh but also was so hot 🔥🔥🔥

Wow

I have enjoyed this series so far. I can’t wait for book 3. The narration is great too, in my opinion.

The awesomeness that is Selene

Love all these characters and how twisted they all are! I can't get enough! There were some surprises in this one.

No substance

Highschooler could write a better book. There wasn’t any substance. Nothing but sex and always owning the main character. I force myself to get through it.
