About this listen

Detective Alex Cross is pulled out of a family celebration and given the awful news that a beloved relative has been found brutally murdered. Alex vows to hunt down the killer, and soon learns that she was mixed up in one of Washington's wildest scenes. And she was not this killer's only victim.

The hunt for her murderer leads Alex and his girlfriend, Detective Brianna Stone, to a place where every fantasy is possible, if you have the credentials to get in. Alex and Bree are soon facing down some very important, very protected, very dangerous people in levels of society where only one thing is certain--they will do anything to keep their secrets safe.

As Alex closes in on the killer, he discovers evidence that points to the unimaginable--a revelation that could rock the entire world. With the unstoppable action, unforeseeable twists, and edge-of-your-seat suspense that only a James Patterson thriller delivers, I, Alex Cross is the master of suspense at his sharpest and best.

Okay

Wasn't very "captavating" as I had hoped but not terrible.

A Great Listen . . .

As a huge fan of Alex Cross, I, Alex Cross, did not disappoint. If they make any more Alex Cross movies they definitely must use Morgan Freeman. The narrator sounded just like him. Even thou it was a reach to go that deep into the White House, it was still a good listen.

This audio book will keep you guessing

Great book, short chapters, makes for good listening in the car for short trips, easy to follow. Could do without "Nana" chapters - seems to just fill space.
Putting Nana aside, its a must buy book for the mystery reader

Another great one

You would think that after so many Alex Cross novels it would be hard to come up with a unique storyline. But once again I am very pleasantly surprised. In this book you see another side of Cross. He continues to evolve and I look forward to many more books in the future.

narrator... :/

loved the story but the narrator was different from the other Alex cross books. that in and of its self isn't a bad thing, but I struggled to get into the story.

Great Book!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where does I, Alex Cross rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was an excellent book, I do not get to sit and read anymore so being able to listen to James Patterson's books is great. I just wish that I had started with book 1 :-)

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, When I had to turn it off I could not wait to start it back up again!!!

Left in the dark

I couldn't put this one down. Lots of twists and turns. I would liked to have heard a little more explanation on the conspiracy issues. Seems to fall a little short.
