Despite the negative review I went ahead and purchased this book. While not the best I've ever read it still was very good and worth the time to listen. It's a little slow in the beginning but starts to show real potential towards the end. I will defiantly be purchasing book two in this new series. If your a fan of Karen Chance or Karen Marie Monning then you will enjoy this book and other titles by this author.

As with The Vampire's Mage Series, also narrated by Schroeder, I can't stop listening. Every chapter has piqued my interest even more. Not to mention, there are some familiar types of creatures, demons and gods that also exist in The Vampire's Mage Series 'universe.' This time, we have a new hero and heroine, as well as strong supporting characters. I strongly recommend CN Crawford novels and Audible books. I can't get enough!

So this is the kind of series where you hate and like it so let me explain what I liked and what I hate

First Ursula half the time I want to strangle her because she is weak and can’t remember anything she does have amnesia I know but still don’t just stand there and get beaten up, or when trying to get a soul how dumb can you be to let a human get the better of you multiply times
The storyline I really enjoyed books about Gods and Demons are my favorite but I’m iffy about reading the 2nd book or buying 2nd audible because I still can’t decide if I hate or like it

I will have to actually read the other books in this series. It was sooo good. I love the adventure and the romantic build up.. I can't wait to finish the series!!!!

Liked the story line but very long. I almost stopped reading but I endured until the end. Like the characters. I think I know who the main character is to this story. Worth figuring out to see if I am right.
