Story
The Revelation: A name given to an event that, five years ago, changed the world forever. In a single day, humanity discovered that not only were they not alone, but they were not exactly at the top of the food chain. Living in the shadows for millennia, supernaturals now had no choice but to finally come into the light. Because of the fury of a mad god, humans and supernaturals now had to learn to coexist side by side for the first time in living memory. With the revelation that magic was not only real but far more common than fairy tales led them to believe, a new society had to be born.

However, when destiny takes an unexpected turn, Sen finds himself thrust into the role of a cultivator’s disciple. Chosen over the nobles who once looked down on him, he is adopted into a makeshift family of three ancient cultivators, each with a lifetime of knowledge and insights. Every year, the empire administers the rite of passage into adulthood. That rite serves to identify those blessed by Aether to become magi. The new magi are shipped to the academy to learn the arts of magic. The academy is a dangerous place; the tournaments held twice each year can cripple or kill the students, and the clans of the empire will go to great lengths to recruit the students they want. Gregory had one dream: to become a magi like the legends of old. Though he was ridiculed by the residents of the village and his unsupportive father, he never wavered from his dream.

I guess you could call my latest job interview a success. I got hired, and it's way beyond my wildest dreams. The pay isn't great. And the hours are pretty much 24/7. But there's magic. And a portal to a fantasy world. Those kind of outweigh the negatives. At first, I thought I was just testing the latest VR survival RPG, but I'm starting to think this might not be a game after all. The monsters are definitely life-like and capable of carving me apart on their worst days. But on their best days, I make them mine.

Ryan lived his life on Earth trapped in his own body. The doctors couldn't explain what was happening to him, but slowly, his body was crystallizing. Then, a portal opened up on the ceiling of his hospital room. He'd seen that one in enough anime to recognize what was happening. It couldn't possibly be worse than the hell that was his life on Earth, not that he was given any choice.

Terrified, he asked what was going on, but his mother grabbed him and fled their village with his father in hopes to escape the lizardmen that were raiding it. They weren't fast enough. After a plan was made up to split up and meet in a cave not too far away, Ashe's mother rushed towards that direction. I was a Hunter, and I honored the Code. For my services to humanity and for leading a "proper" life, I was to be rewarded. A new life after death, and a new world to give me some well-deserved rest. But something went wrong. Once again, I must fight. The Monsters that face me here are far more terrifying than those of my past life. They are cleverer, crueler, more unpredictable. Shifted by quantum entanglement from Earth to an alien planet, military contractor Zander Greaves and his squad would have to adapt—and quickly—if they wanted to live. As they tried to understand what was happening, the stark truth of their new reality thrust itself on the shaken humans. Giant machines of war were attacking an equally humongous bug. And, quite unfortunately, the giant bug had a lot of little friends.

The offer on the table is to become a guardian of a Portal, a doorway to another world. But there's a twist – he must keep it a secret. Portals, it turns out, are alive in some way. Story
It has been thousands of years since beast-kind were united under one banner. The empire encompasses most of the known world, driving out or enslaving the lesser races without mercy. In a state of constant war and conquest, they have perfected the art of battle. For commoner wolf-kind Valian, being accepted and trained in a noble house's army was a dream come true. Without wealth or a family, it was his best shot at attaining honor and glory. Until fate intervened. When Valian discovers he's descended from an ancient and long-thought-extinct line, everything changes.

Chris Vines- How have I not heard him??!
I have loved Finding a new author Who is Able to Gather together big ideas, And Insert them into Stories that excite, Besides exciting, I've found these books to Contain accurate information about Our world In a way that would inspire people to learn more about The topics in his books, Even going So far as to educate His readers to Much!
Plus, From the dates of the releases on his books i've seen, It looks like we have a New author who can actually Get the books published in into our hands in a timely matter! Great book great job!
Message to the author-
Chris, err-,
Sir Vines, You're a very good author in my opinion, And I bet you're a good man as well. So please don't let complacency Keep you From fulfilling your potential Now that you are really making it, or because the money has began rolling in nicely! Be like The Main character in your book, and keep up the good/ hard work. That way, we won'twon't fault you when you inevitably need to take some time you need off! And don't just sit on your Laurels!.. Or start To mislead your audience As to when Something will be done, Or in anything For that matter!
So, Like badass librarians everywhere often say" Be careful and take it slow..
You should always follow that rule! Of course.
-Except when you should not..."

still kind of childish.
the book overall is very very good. kind of childish in certain parts. "grumble grumble grumble" then stick his tongue out at one of his lovers. pretty childish for someone that lived to adulthood on another planet. Harem but can't swear. he still is embarrassed even though he is courting women half his collective age. Also why should he have to take the princess's last name. She should fall in line since she was third on the list. plus he is stronger (since this is a might is right type book)

It was OK, but it was a confusing and frustrating story.
And once again, the book ends with the main character being heavily injured, so we know the next book will start out with the main character spending the first few chapters recovering. Then there is the confusing part for example describing a steam train to run to his new village. Describing that twice to the same person. Then there is the description of the core being empty then the best pill only giving you 10% of it back, but then acting like it’s full in the next paragraph. Then there was the obvious traps. I don’t think a single person who read this book who did not think that the messenger was a trap at the end.
