Great narration. Interesting story and easy to listen to. I will definitely look for more by this author.

Good read

I would have liked this book better at half the length. It was a struggle to get through the boring sections that would drag on. I had to force myself to finish it.

Story over ran with wandering off topic filler

Took a bit to get interested. But the story did pick up. I was just caught off guard that the book all of the sudden ended. Would have preferred a more developed ending. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.

Good story; abrupt ending

I enjoyed the tone of the story. The readers voice was easy to listen to. The characters were likable... but it didn't go anywhere. Maybe I was expecting something different.

I was waiting patiently.

Excellent in every way! I didn’t want this story to end. Perhaps there will be a sequel written!

One of the few audibles I have thoroughly enjoyed…

Without giving too much away, it's basically a story of a highly toxic relationship between two socially stunted wannabes, put together using as many SAT words as possible. The narrator was my favorite part. All.the characters were extremely unlikeable, not to mention the ridiculous names ("Bergeaux" & "Moneena" & "Trissa"). It also boasts an inordinate number of cliches (predictable references to plastic surgery enhanced LA dwellers & "snooty French"). The story was interesting enough (albeit predictable) that I powered through it. But I'm thankful I didn't spend any credit or money on it.

Eloquently written love story about toxic relation

" Do you like (the) book? It's interesting. That's what you say when you learn something but you don't enjoy it." from chapter 51.

It's interesting.

The beginning of the book was ok, the middle was somewhat boring, but the end made me rethink some things that have happened in my life. Not a book for those thinking it’s actually going to be about how she tried to kill her husband.

Not what I expected…

It's ironic that a book based around a female book publisher, who tells her husband that his manuscript needs work because the story needs to be rounded out, has that exact problem. It's told in jerky fashion, bouncing around time periods without explanation. And then it has a worse ending than the first "Hobbit" movie. At least they had the excuse that it was a trilogy, so the story wasn't actually over. This was just... lazy.

It has potential...

It is not a thriller or a mystery. Maybe a mystery “lite” but not really. It’s a story of a relationship. It’s good. It’s well written and the the narration is good. It’s not exciting just a story.

I liked this book
