Publisher's summary

There's no doubt about it, breakups suck. But in the first few hours or days or weeks that follow, there's one important truth you need to recognize: Some things can't and shouldn't be fixed, especially that loser who dumped you or forced you to dump him. It's over for a reason, and deep down inside you probably know what that reason is. It's called a breakup because it's broken, and starting today, you're not the kind of woman who settles for broken, or hangs on to damaged goods, be it a radio, a pair of shoes, or a relationship. It's time to get rid of all the broken stuff you've been lugging around for days, months, and maybe even years, and make the bold decision to start looking for stuff that works! Because the longer you stay stuck in a dead-end relationship, the less time you get on this planet to experience a great one. So download this book, and let's dive in, our goal is to help you turn your breakup into the event that changes your life for the better in ways you never dreamed possible. It's not an end, it's a beginning! After all, you are a Superfox.

Actually a good book for guys too

I'm not sure why they target girls for this book, because half of it is a guy telling how he got over his own breakups. This book is equally good for guys. I just got out of a 3 year relationship and even though I was the one that ended it I was still feeling pretty down (this is called dumpers remorse in the book). This audio actually made me feel quite a bit better about ending things. I think the other reviewer is mistaken, and am pretty sure this version of the book is in fact read by the authors.

A must read

This book was funny, insightful, and the gentle advice that you already know but just need to hear from somebody else.

I believe everybody should read this book even if they haven't had a break up yet or haven't had one recently that has made them feel broken. It will help you understand others who may come to you about break ups and will help you handle your next break up with more confidence.

Good advice

Not earth shattering new info, but logical and well presented. Very helpful reminders on how to stop thinking and tormenting yourself about "you know who". Basically - It's not worth keeping a jerk who can be happy being apart from you, while you suffer for them. That's not how genuine love works. THEY DON'T LOVE YOU, or perhaps never did. Real love is an unselfish emotion. It wants their partner to be happy, because this is what makes THEM happy. Real love does not leave you alone with the flu.

THE BEST!!!!!!

Greg and Amira Rock! It looks sounds like it's for much younger audiences but at 50 years old, I found it just to be what I needed in my own life. I struggle with a complex marriage where I'm not sure it's going to work out from day to day. this book helped me to put things in perspective. It helped me see that no matter what happens in the end, I'm going to be okay. It helped me know what to do to be a okay day by day and step by step. These guys are absolutely hilarious together and dare recommendations are spot-on. If you need to feel better and you need a step-by-step friendly guide to how to get through some of the worst pain you'll ever feel, please read this book. Keep it on your audible list and listen to it whenever you feel weak. They will get you through it!

Its misleading.. the authors did NOT read this version so it sounds a little wooden.. but the info is very helpful.. even if you already know it, sometimes you just need to hear it again
