About this listen

The original English fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk" appeared in 1734 and was titled "The Story of Jack Spriggins and the Enchanted Bean". It was popularized by Joseph Jacobs in English Fairy Tales in 1890.

In this sequel to the story Jacques and the Magic Beanstalk, it is Jack's son, Jacques, who has his own adventures in the Land of the Giants, a land of which his father had never spoken.

After all, it is dangerous business, moving between worlds.

Well done!

We listened to this while on a road trip with our two girls, ages 7 and 11. We were all thoroughly entertained. The story was written quite well, and the new twist on a classic tale was just perfect. Plus, the narration!! Cory Fox with all his accents and different voices for each character...he was so good! He added another layer to the story and allowed us all to get lost in it. Overall...loved it and would highly recommend, especially the audio version! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
