Politics, phallic statues, and pretty women.
Literally everywhere you look, you see an old man and a gold-digging, cling-on wrapped around their wrinkly arms.
Looks as though my hot streak ended when Warren Shipley, one of the nation's wealthiest men, hired me to play arm-candy to save face with the other one-percenters he did business with. At least that's what I thought when I arrived in Washington, DC, until I was met by old man Shipley's debonair and insanely handsome son. The Senator from California, Aaron Shipley. Youngest senator in the history of politics, single, beyond rich, and the face of every political magazine around the US. Women everywhere wanted a taste of that power.
Me, I'd always thought politics were boring...boy was I wrong. Democracy had never been more exciting.
In the sixth book of the Calendar Girl serial, Mia is sent to our nation's capital, Washington, DC. Still on her mission to save her father, she embraces the life of a gold-digging mistress in order to get a life-saving project off the ground.
Each installment in the Calendar Girl Serial will feature Mia's journey as an escort to twelve clients in twelve different locations.
Warning: This book is designed for audiences 18+ due to language and graphic sexual content.

Where does June rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I've read so many... I think there's at least 250 in my library. This isn't the best, but not the worst. Honestly, I don't feel like it's fair to rank just June by itself. I feel like the audiobooks should be released 3 months at a time like the print books. As far as this story compared to the others in this series I feel like it was a building block to the next month. There's an important event that shapes her character, but overall the relationship with the Shipleys isn't going to be all that memorable.Would you recommend June to your friends? Why or why not?
I'd recommend the series, but my least favorite book thus far.Have you listened to any of Summer Morton’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No just the ones in this series. She does a good job with different characters and overall pace. She's not one of my favorites, but she's enjoyable to listen to.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The "event" that happens at the end pulls at my heart strings and was written well. The text conversations are humerous. Not A lot of Substance, but still draws you in

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, This series is great. What was one of the most memorable moments of June?
The way Mia handled her situation at the end. She made no selfish demands and really showed a side to herself that I really needed to see. I applaud her strength. I am curious to see how this effects her mental and emotional moving forward with the year and accepting new clients.Any additional comments?
I haven't really established a relationship with Mia's character. I have a hard time understanding some of her choices and how she handles certain situations. I really wish I could connect more to her character. She comes off very rude and steps out of her place often. However, the book is great. The other characters are great and I applaud them for putting up with Mia's immaturity sometimes.June was a difficult month for Mia and she faced a horrible situation this month. She also dealt with many issues mentally from being away. However, she was able to really help her character with the success of his project and toward the end her character was a tad bit more admirable.
