About this listen

The Complete Series in a single offering!

The last time Matteo tried out for the Rangers, he lost an arm.

In a world plagued by monstrous threats, Matteo is granted a second chance to join the elite Rangers—the monster hunters protecting the city atop a giant turtle. With the promise of wielding a powerful magical artifact, he vows to excel in boot camp and make this opportunity count.

Yet, as he endures the grueling trials of the Ranger training, a dark revelation surfaces: their ranks are thinning at an alarming rate. Despite their formidable magic and rigorous preparation, Rangers are falling victim to a malevolent force that isn’t just the monsters they battle.

With few allies and limited resources, Matteo faces mounting peril from both the monstrous threats and a hidden danger within their own ranks. Armed only with an enigmatic artifact—a pen imbued with mysterious magical power—Matteo clings to the hope that sometimes, in the battle against darkness, the pen may indeed be mightier than the sword.

This is an epic progression-fantasy atop a city sized turtle featuring a unique artifact magic system.

World building and characters were great. Narrator needs to pay more attention to vocabulary. He obviously did not understand and mispronounced quite a few words. Still recommend this omnibus highly for a credit.

Good value. Story was imaginative and fun

Story is really good, but there are numerous issues with the recording. Mainly several instances of repeating the last 10 to 15 seconds of the story. QC needs some work, but that's not the authors fault.

great story

The story is good, but I keep getting drawn out of the story from the multiple mispronunciations of words throughout the books.

Good story but narrator takes you out
