About this listen

Noah thrives on battle. He won’t stop until he’s the strongest around.

When the System Administrators arrived on Earth, they forced those of the younger generation into other worlds to fight for multiversal entertainment. Bored of life on Earth, Noah has trained to become one of the chosen. He even had his class all planned out–a Mounted Monster Tamer.

But he was never picked. So he put matters into his own hands and volunteered.

Arriving in a world thick with jungle and hotter than the most boiling desert, Noah finds himself face-to-face with a kobold, which he proceeds to beat into submission and turn into a minion.

In this realm where both humans and monsters wish to tear him apart, Noah doesn’t just want to survive.

He wants to thrive.

In this place, he’ll become king.

Don't miss the start of this LitRPG Apocalypse Adventure from FreeiD, bestselling author of [Psychokinetic] Eyeball Pulling! With a unique spin featuring tamed monsters that grow and evolve alongside Noah, it's perfect for fans of Primal Hunter, Apocalypse Tamer, and Defiance of the Fall!

Fantastic Start of a Series!

Great writing and narration! MCs progression goes at a great pace with a fairly detailed system. Can’t wait for the next installment of the series!

Unconventional Class Choice

I liked how original the class is. Lots of traditional level up energy. If you like that pick this up.

A good start for a series

as with a lot of books of this genre, it starts very slow.

Once everything is explained the book picks up speed.

Reminded me a bit of hunger games in the beginning, then it took off in its own direction.

A few times I questioned the choice of words. they just stood out for no reason in my opinion (palpitate) The words just didn't seem to mesh with the rest of the book.

I very much enjoyed the book as my only complaint was choice of words lol

The hundred games in space

This is hunger Games in space where we have to deal with being a confined area and having all kinds of stuff happen in some ways. If you've watched The Hunger Games. It has some nice twists to it, but go for all. It is a somebody just watched the movies and then decided to put elements from the entire series into this book and mix in some litrpg

a story once you start you need to finish

how far and strong can the MC get when it's just him and his cobalt. working alone gaining all the XP for himself and his mount. who knew riding a cobalt would be so effective. a great story and can't wait until the next book

Ironic easter eggs

I love how the book is similar to other books I love and all the ironic easter eggs it has to other things in other books and irl. I like how realistic Noah trust is, especially with other humans. It is a must listen/read book.

Noah is hard to like but hard to hate

Combat is visceral bit the descriptions seem to avoid the mention of blood, instead constantly describing "hot liquid" yet having no trouble describing a spear into the eye to puncture the brain. I'll still look forward to the next installment because I've otherwise greatly enjoyed the story so far.
